"Well, you should thank some other person for this as it wasn't me who have bought them by my own." Ethan said while tucking few hair strands behind her ear.

This single statement was enough to confuse Katherine as she stood there completely dumbfounded in her husband's arms.

"That means, it wasn't your idea? Then whose planning was it?" Katherine asked, finally coming out of her trance.

"Actually, the idea was mine. But the person who have directed me to buy all the equipments, was your mother. Although I'm a big time cake lover but I don't have even a slightest bit of idea about anything related to it..

So I called Aunty once when I was in New York and she helped me to buy everything according to your liking. As I knew that you're not materialistic like any other girls of your age, so I thought it'd be the best wedding gift for you from my side." Ethan said, staring into her hazel eyes which had started to turn gloomy now.

"You are right, Ethan. It is the best wedding gift I could ever have received. You know, a good husband is not the one who throws money on his wife unnecessarily without caring about what she actually wants..

But a true husband is the one who not only takes care of his wife wholeheartedly but also consider her passion and dream as his own. Thanks for everything, Ethan." Katherine poured out her inner feelings in front of her husband with all of her pent up emotions.

In return, Ethan just kissed her forehead and hugged her again before murmuring into her hair, "I'm not perfect Kathy but I can try to be the one just for you."

Time stood still as the couple kept hugging each other in the hallway, trying to savour as much warmth as possible.

Nothing else mattered to them at that moment except themselves being wrapped in their better half's arms.

This beautiful scene was noticed by Olivia whose lips too arched up into a satisfactory smile, seeing her best friend happy with her husband.

Although she didn't have any heart to break this sweet moment of them, but time was not permitting her to stay mum anymore.

So she did what she thought of the best at that moment to bring the couple out of their fairyland.

Hearing her fake cough, both Katherine and Ethan finally got back to their senses, making them break the hug haphazardly.

"Sorry guys to disturb between your lovey dobey moment. But I didn't have any other choice as I've to rush out now. So thought to bid goodbye to both of you before leaving.

But never thought to witness such a romantic scene by my virgin eyes. Argh! My poor vision!" Olivia exclaimed loudly, rubbing her eyes to give a more dramatic look to her acting.

Ethan just chuckled at her act whereas Katherine couldn't help but roll her eyes at her overdramatic way of talking which was nothing less than a comedy show.

"You are leaving already? I just have returned back from my office with the thought of spending some time with my wife and her best friend so that I can get to know about some of Kathy's childhood embarrassing moments.

But here you're ready to fail all of my plans. Not fair at all..!" Ethan stated playfully, making Katherine shock to her deepest core.

While Olivia couldn't hold herself anymore and burst into fits of laughter. Just by the thought of telling him about all of their mischiefs and embarrassing moments, Olivia's stomach churned into excitement.

But alas!

She didn't have much time to gossip about those days as the work she had gotten right now, was way more important than anything else.

"I'd love to reveal everything to you, Ethan. But sadly, not today. I got a call from office just a few minutes ago. Though I have to rejoin my office from tomorrow but some urgent work has come all of a sudden..

As your dear wife is also in a leave due to her wedding, so they want me handle the project. But I promise to disclose every naughty secrets of your wife once I get a little bit of free." Olivia informed them about her work crisis but whisper the latter part with a naughty smirk playing on her lips.

"Cool for me then." Ethan said with a same kind of smirk.

Whereas, Katherine who was standing completely baffled with the conversation which was going between her husband and best friend, finally couldn't held her patience back anymore and thought to remind them about her presence among them.

"Guys… I think you both are forgetting that I'm still around you. So it'll be best for both of you to mark my presence and stop bitching about me right on my face." Katherine warned them, while gritting her teeth in extreme anger.
