That was the words that lingered in the air as I stepped out of my chamber, entering the general hallway.

My eyes wandered around as I wondered why they were congratulating me.

"My lady!" Anna rushed over to me - a big smile resting on her lips.

"Anna, what's going on?" I asked as we continued walking on the hallway that leads to the Gamma district.

"Everyone is happy in the pack. The Alpha has successfully marked you which means we will be expecting a cry of a baby soon." She spilled bluntly with excitement filled in her voice.

"Wh…. What? Cry of a baby?!" I gasped as my cheeks unintentionally turned red.

What were they thinking?

"What do you mean?" I asked her cryptically.
