Chapter 2: Bully Got Kicked!

Cecilia's POV

Redmoon Pack, the pack which I belong to, was mostly in charge of festivals and occasions because it had the largest land.

It was a few days before his birthday and Henry didn't fail to flaunt around the entire pack, inviting and bragging about how he would lavish food, wine, and money on his birthday. He was a daddy's boy, no doubt it would be a big party but people laughed at him from behind because he had nothing on his own.

I was washing some roots when Anna ran into the yard, with a happy smile on her face. She continued jumping and hopping as she approached me.

"Anna, what's up with you?" I shook my head and spread the roots on the filterable weaved tray. "Why are you so happy?" And I looked up at her.

"My lady, the Alpha had finally approved your freedom of movement." She announced with a voice filled with excitement.

"Really?" I jumped from the wood I was sitting on, so happy and excited.

Initially, I was secluded from the main pack because of what happened to the late Alpha's son. They felt I was the one that poisoned him, even when I had only met him once. To think of it, it's two years since I haven't left my tent.

The Alpha didn't make it look like he had taken me hostage or I was a prisoner, he just made sure I didn't step out rather it was from my tent to the forest. It was a month ago that Anna informed me about the news she heard, he was doing this to keep the elders calm.

Finally, they must have seen the real culprit, that's why he had decided to set me free.

The thought of seeing the pack's beautiful lake and moonlight events rejuvenated my heart and I smiled.

"I'm so happy." I gasped.

"The entire pack from East, west, and South districts are preparing for Moonlight pack heir's birthday. Our pack is bustling with life." Anna informed me.

"Right, he promised to make it big, let's see how it goes." I rubbed my chin and faced her. "And invitation?" I raised a brow.

"Everyone was invited." She winked and I smiled mischievously.

"It's payback time." My inner wolf and I said in unison. He must have also pissed her off badly.

The day of Henry's birthday came, and from my tent, I could hear the loud voices of guests and the howling sounds. They also shot dynamites and fireworks in the air. The party fell in the evening, and aside from the full moon, some candlelights and bulbs lightened the paths. I wore my best purple dress and arrived at the gathering with Anna.

The place was filled with people, Alphas of the East, West, North, and South districts, and other wolves in their ranking.

They were making merry among themselves as the Gammas played the drums while the Omegas served food and wine.

I stood at a corner to observe the entire event, Henry was in front of his friends, laughing and discussing with them.

Each of his friends toasted him a glass of wine which he didn't reject, he was in a good mood and high spirits.

I smiled and took a dekko at the small black bottle in my hand, underneath it was the name. I would be using it for him tonight which would leave a memorable scar in his mind and heart. It would teach him how to respect others and never mess with me again.

I attempted to leave but Anna grabbed me, and I faced her.

"My lady - -" She mumbled.

"I'm coming," I assured her with a warm smile and she withdrew.

I approached Henry with elegant strides, my waist tossing to the left and right and my long chestnut-colored hair lying at my back. Unfortunately, I didn't know I was a showstopper until I got to where he stood and noticed the number of eyes I had drawn to myself.

People started wondering who I was. Some knew me but haven't seen me for decades while others wondered where I have been all this time and where I came from.

"I never invited you." Henry gritted under his breath, I heard him but pretended to be deaf.

"Lord Henry, allow me to congratulate you with a glass of wine on your birthday." As I collected the wines from the table, I did the mixture so fast that no one would ever know and I held the cup in the air, waiting for him to receive it.

"Lord Henry, what are you waiting for? Are you trying to refuse the wine from a pretty goddess?" One of his friends nudged him.

He was still reluctantly and I didn't fail to brighten my smile, other people started nudging him until he took the cup.

"Congratulations." I let out a toothy smile as I gulped the wine, he followed suit after my cup was emptied.

As I expected, he felt something so he wanted me to drink first.

"So, do you mind introducing this beautiful lady to us?" Another guest commented, approaching me.

He rolled his eyes. "She isn't worth introducing." He scoffed.

"Oh? Have you had a thing with her?" One of his friends questioned him immediately.

"Do you want to?" He grabbed my arms, I was startled because I never saw that coming, it was his birthday and I thought he would behave manly and well. But his bad character followed him everywhere. "I can give her to you for the night." He completed his sentence and I stared at him in anger.

"Henry," I called his name seriously.

"What? Are you going to hit me?" He raised a brow and I shook my head.

"Of course not, it's your birthday." He gradually released my hand while I pretended as though I was dusting his shirt. Then, I faced his friends. "I will leave you to enjoy your party," I said with a sweet smile and left.

I felt his eyes and their eyes on me but I didn't turn back. I went over to another corner and sat for a while.

From where I sat, I could see him clearly, and from there, I noticed when he started sweating and feeling hot when the weather was cold.

He drank more wine and blew the breeze on himself with his hands, it wasn't enough to keep him calm.

"Look!" One lady in their gathering gasped and everybody followed her finger.

"Lord Henry, what's happening to your face?" One of his friends panicked and Henry looked clueless.

Big pimples had begun to grow on his face, not one, not two but so many that he started looking disgusting.

The people sitting from him started dispersing, taking another seat. Others tried to stay far away from him for fear that he must have caught a contagious disease.

His right-hand man returned with a small mirror which he used to look at himself. As soon as he saw the state of his face, he ran insane and his eyes started running wild around the gathering. I knew he had noticed and was now looking for me.

I secretly stood from the seat.

"Find her! Find that bitch!" His voice frightened me and suddenly, I couldn't move a leg.
