Lex's whole body felt extremely warm, every part of his body felt as if his body was covered in water that was the perfect temperature. He couldn't open his eyes but somehow he knew that the area around him was a blinding white.

The moment of comfort was extremely shortlived, Lex soon felt as if every cell in his body was being stabbed and crushed in one. He tried his best to move as if to break out of the immense pain he was in only to find that he was unable to.

After a while, Lex opened his eyes with no sort of idea how much time had passed, looking around he found that he was still in the same area as before. Suddenly a lot of messages popped up in front of him.

"What?" Lex said aloud in confusion as he started to get up from where he was laying, as he stood straight and stretched out his arms he noticed that something seemed off.

Lex started to feel extremely dizzy and noticed that he seemed to be a lot taller than he was before, he looked across the room noticing that his eye level was definitely a brick or two higher than it was before.

Next, he looked down towards the ground, Bones' body was still there. 'Well, I unlocked my inventory so I should check that first!' Lex thought to himself before opening it.

'Inventory'

A decently sized black square appeared in Lex's eyesight, shortly after a 6 by 6 grid emerged on top of the square showing his inventory spaces. 'That's cool! It's the same as in the game!!' Lex exclaimed with wide eyes.

In the top left square, there was a turquoise coloured box with a shiny red ribbon tied in a bow on top of it.

Lex moved his finger so that it was on top of the present.

'Well, I did select it for a reason...' Lex thought with an annoyed expression before selecting the yes option.

Suddenly, something hit Lex on the top of his head. 'A surprise attack?' Lex thought as he jumped forward and spinning around facing what was behind him.

Lex stood in a squared-up position finding that nothing was there, he looked down to find the present that was once in his inventory was now laying on the ground.

'What kind of inventory spawns the items above my head...' Lex thought with a slightly relieved yet annoyed expression.

He walked up to the present picking it up, 'It seems very light, or is it that I am a lot stronger now?' He thought as he pulled on the bow opening the present.

Lex opened the turquoise coloured lid to find an odd crown inside of the box.

The crowns base was made of bone, it was an oddly shaped bone that created a circular shape, evidently created so that someone could wear it on their head.

around the top of the crown were several bones that stuck out, they were all sliced or broken off at the top. 'It doesn't look like much, but everything helps.' Lex thought as he touched the crown.

Lex's heart dropped upon reading this, 'A RELIC!?!?!?' He thought to himself as he went to put it onto his head with his hands shaking the entire time.

Relics were extremely powerful, they would level up with their user allowing the owner to distribute stat points with each level, but that wasn't all, they also usually had passive skills that would be extremely powerful.

Lex didn't even consider it, he quickly hit the yes button.

The crown started to change shape to match his head perfectly and once it was done no matter how hard he yanked it he couldn't pull it off.

'I guess I don't need to worry about anyone stealing it.' Lex thought as he looked towards Bones.

'If I can hold souls, does that mean I can do this?'

Lex looked at Bones' body and a message appeared in front of him.
