17 Transferring Packs, Pathetic Wimps, and Deadly Protector

THIRD PERSON'S POV

- - -

Thick tension was visibly clear in the large magnificent sitting room, as the Alpha, and the Beta cowered in front of the terrifying Lycan King, who looked at them with such a deathly, murderous, yet calm glance, that chilled their spins and bodies to the core, as they shifted uncomfortably in their seats.

Ares' confident posture radiated immense boldness, as he gave off an authoritative aura with his arms spread over the head of the couch he was sitting on, with his foot crossed over, supported by his knee.

Despite his calm facade, he was raging inside.

He wanted nothing more than to flip the table in front of him, and brutally torture the damn b-st-rds, boldly sitting in front of him, until they begged for him to kill him.

But he controlled himself.

For what he had prepared for them was a humiliation worse than death itself.

And lastly, it wasn't his place to kill them.

It was hers.

And hers alone.

You see, Seraphina wasn't the only one with exclusive knowledge about him.

Upon touching him, he had been given a glimpse of her life in his dreams that night as well.

He could have looked into her memories if he wanted to, but that was something that happened on its own.

It meant it was her who wanted him to see that.

Anyone who could just see her.

They had made her that desperate.

How f-cking dare they?

His hands clenched into tight fists as a sudden jolt of anger shot through him, and the beer glass shattered in his grip.

The stuff, the things, Elio told them, were enough for him to want to wipe this pack off the map, and this world's surface.

All in due time.

He would make sure Seraphina does this on her own. He would make sure for her to get to see their downfall.

The downfall that had already started.

"Is it finished?"

His calm words, in a rough contained voice, startled them, as they hesitantly looked at each other.

"F-finished w-what?"

A ghost of a smile made its way on Ares' face, frightening them both even more upon the Alpha's stuttering.

How pathetic.

He didn't deserve to be addressed by such a title; he was unworthy. He was a wuss.

"Elio." At his one word, his Delta stepped forward from where he was standing directly behind his King, like a loyal knight, and glared at the both abominations.

"The transfer process of Seraphina Lucasta, and the intercepting the prophecy."

Benette and Hilton gulped while looking at each other.

They never, in their wildest dreams, imagined for their pack's outcast and punch bag to be given this much value.

The most esteemed pack in the world was seeking their pack's abomination, for she was in reality a lycan.

And they-

They had royally f-cked up.

When Benette recalled how he had whipped her until her back was raw with blood pouring out like a river, he went numb.

Chills ran down his body as he recalled all the nasty terrifying rumors surrounding the Lycan's Pack, and his bones trembled, as he trembled like a leaf.

F-CK!!! No! The thought of him being tortured made him pull out his hair. He had to turn this situation around in any way possible.

It was clear what would happen otherwise.

Wait, how about he denies her transfer?

Even a Lycan Pack can't do anything if the pack doesn't allow it.

His vile eyes brightened as he hung on to his last thread of survival, but as he lifted his head up to laugh in triumph, he was frozen in fear at the bloodcurdling, deathly glares from the both Lycan King and his equally terrifying Delta.

He whimpered as his words stuck in his throat as his Alpha submissively signed and stamped on the papers.

F-ck, they were doomed now.

If only had he known his cursed daughter's worth.

If only that wench had shown her true colors soon.

His blood boiled at the thought of her, who he always kept the face of, below his shoe, looking down at him.

That bitc-

"Finish that thought, I dare you."

Gone was the calm facade, and the previous threatening aura was replaced by a choking murderous one, as Benette held his throat.

W-what? What was happening to him?

Before he knew it, he felt himself being choked as he stood up from the couch unwillingly.

Actually, he wasn't standing up; he was in the air as he desperately swung his legs back and forth.

Tears dripped from the corner of his eye as he peered at the ghastly monster who stood angrily, in command, with his hand clenched in his direction.

Ares felt a deadly killing intent overcome him as he tightened his fist, and Benette gurgled as his entire face became purple with the lack of oxygen.

Serves him right.

Anyone who even thought about insulting her would find Ares against them and face his wrath.
