1 1. Allies

Avery's POV...................

"I don't understand why you are doing it??" I state my concern in front of my sister. Who is acting strongly in front of me, not want to break her dam walls.

"You already know it." She simply said without even giving a glance towards me. And I didn't missed the sadness behind her words, it pained my heart listening to my sister.

"Marriage is not only the way for it, Emily." I said this time a bit loud, which makes her head snapped towards me. Her eyes are red, and nose too, anytime she will broke her wall.

"Do you have any better idea, then this??" She ask me as she cross her hands in front of her chest. I sighed heavily in defeat, she is right, I don't have any better idea. But I know it's wrong, completely wrong.

I can't help my sister in this misery, I want to help her. She is more than a sister for me, she is like a mother to me. She loves me like I'm her child not like sister, while my mother never cared about me. I don't know why, but my mother never liked me?? She completely ignore me, like I never existed in her life.

While she is good to Emily, she always do the mother things to Emily. While I always get ignored by her, she sometimes even can't stand my presence. It pains my heart, to get ignored by my own mother. I always wondered why?? This why is staying in my head from my childhood. From I started understanding things. And started understanding my mom never liked me. But to my surprise, I never got an answer from her.

But I however compromise me, by saying I have Emily and dad. They both love me so much, maybe because they know about my mother's behaviour towards me.

"Look, even you don't have any idea to take us out if this misery." She stated as she again divert her face towards window. Looking outside our garden sitting by window.

I again sighed looking at her, defeated. I will do anything, if it is in my power. But no, it is not, I can't do anything to help my sister. To bring her out from this marriage thing.

We are werewolves, we don't do marriage stuff. But in my sister case, she has to do a marriage. Because she is not getting married to her mate. She is going to be someone's choosen mate.

If she is going to be with her mate, then this marriage thing will not be happen. But here it is happening, because they both are not waiting for there mates to come in to there life and choosing someone, who moon goddess didn't selected.

Why??

You all must be thinking, right??

Let me tell you then, our pack is Eclipse pack, is small pack comparing to other packs. We had total of 1000 warewolf in our pack. A small pack but lively pack, my father is Alpha, and he is such a sweet person. He has always has that smile on his lips, he never behaves like an Alpha to anyone in this pack. He is more like a wellwisher to every one.

So, back to the topic of my sister Marriage. We got to know that our neighbour pack to planning on attacking on our pack. And it's a large pack comparing to ours. So my father tried to make Allies with Golden Moon pack, which is the strongest of all the packs.

There Alpha is ruthless, arrogant person, from the stories I have heard about him. So, when my father send Allies with there pack, there Alpha father, Phillips made a negotiation with dad.

That is, they will help us in the return, my sister should get married with that scumbag. Yeah, he is not waiting for his true mate and even dragging my sister in his mess.

I so want to punch on his face, but I can't do anything.

In starting my father didn't agreed to it, but my sister Emily, who can't put her pack members in danger. Agreed to marry that bastard and to be his choosen mate. She is not at all happy with that, but keeping all of us in her view, she agreed to it.

She didn't even meet her mate still her, she is 23 years old. Up to this marriage topic, she was waiting for him desperately without giving herself to any other man. But now, see she is ready to be someone's choosen mate.

It sucks like hell for me.

Did I tell you that, she is the next Alpha of our pack, after dad get retired. So, even before getting the title of Alpha she is doing her job, to save her people by her life. That's what an actual Alpha do. My father doesn't had boys,it's only two girls me and my sister.

Even if she is not an Alpha, she is a good warrior. She can fight, with 2 Alpha's at a time, she really worked hard to be that strong. But see, now she is here going to get married soon.

Me and my dad is not at all happy for her decision. But to our surprise, our mom is quite happy. She has been jumping around the mansion, telling that her daughter is going to get Married to one of the best Alpha.

But she is not thinking that, Emily could never be happy with a choosen mate rather than her actual mate. Which moon goddess made for her.

I have been at Emily's tail, to reject this offer. But she is not listening to me at all, not to dad too. Whenever we tries to make her understand she uses her Alpha tone on us, making us both shut.

I want to help her in this, I want her happiness. I want her to meet her mate and live her life happily with him. But life  has different plans for her.
