1 Prologue: The Great War

The god of the world of Lyria named Xou abandoned the world, sparking a devastating war between the demons and celestials. The 7 demon generals, Vacti ruler of gravity, Lumi ruler of lightning, Richto ruler of wrath, Lamenti ruler of disasters, Incarnito ruler of wind, Rila ruler of earth, Krest ruler of desires, sought to take control of everything and amassed a great army.

Fearing the demons' victory the celestials proposed a deal with the humans, their left eye, and a portion of their life energy, for power rivaling that of a celestial. Knowing what victory for the demons meant for them they accepted the deal without a thought. Their left eye disintegrated and a new one appeared showing their level that was maxed out to level 10 as well as a surging pain from within as some of their life energy was being drained.

The war continued on for years and the humans devised a plan to seal away the demons forever inside a different dimension called the Void, using stones made out of celestial and human blood they were able to successfully seal away the demons at a great cost of many lives.

Having incurred heavy losses the celestials went into hiding high above the sky to heal their tattered bodies and souls. While the humans recovered fairly fast and began building societies and kingdoms. Peace had finally been restored and the great war was forever told across generations.

Due to the long-lasting peace, the levels and abilities dulled out and degraded over thousands of years. There are still some humans left who train their levels to reach the heights their ancestors had reached but the difference in times made it quite impossible. 5,400 years later is where our story begins, with an unfortunate boy named Nero bearing the mark of a level 0.
