"Your appearance is terrible. I don't know how you can joke right now." Sonya's face didn't relax even when he tried to lighten the mood.

"I'll be fine. Did you get rid of the demons?" Vlad asked.

Sonya lowered her head in shame. "Sorry, Patriarch. One of the female demons escaped."

Vlad frowned. "This will cause some problems. Take me to the palace."

*Sigh*

"Let's go back," Sonya yelled.

A second later, the sovereigns gathered around Vlad. They all looked down.

Viktor bowed his head and said, "Patriarch, we failed the mission. One of them escaped. I will accept the punishment."

"I'll think of a punishment later. Now, I will return to the palace with Sonya. You guys can go back to the Cassk clan."

"Yes, patriarch," they all responded in unison.

Sonya broke through the void arriving at the palace in a split second.
