1 Prologue- A rainy night

It all started one rainy night, two figures were mulling over the dilemma that they were stuck in. There was one male in his late 30s facing a young woman, they resemble each other. They were both waiting for someone to bring some sort of good news, so wait they did.

BANG

30 minutes later they hear someone burst through the doors of the lavish living room they were seated in. They were prepared to kill whoever the intruder was until they realized who it was, they were looking, at which point they expressed relief. It was an old man in his late 50s.

"Grandpa what took you so long?" asked the woman with an anxious face on her face.

The old man sighed and started explaining the recent events. "I was held back, the dealer had brought some 'friends' with him to try and swindle me out of my money. Luckily, I had the upper hand in the confrontation─"

"Do you have the pill?" Urged the young woman.

The woman's grandfather sighs and hands her a black pill with golden runes encrusted across its surface, a mysterious aura radiates from the fingernail sized pill. The middle-aged man who has kept silent until this point holds back tears and apologizes.

"I'm sorry daughter, I wish I was stronger, and this wouldn't have happened"

The young woman feels her heart clench and replies, "It's alright father, as long as I take this pill it will fake a pregnancy which will throw those lascivious bastards off my back."

The woman, named Valentia, takes a deep breath before ingesting the pill and circulating an energy that surrounds the pill and dissolves it. They all sigh in relief thinking of the days where they will be able to reclaim their strength.

Over the next couple of months, they were able to reintegrate themselves in the business fields with little repercussions. The men who were trying to court Valentia stopped once they learned that she was pregnant, nobody knew who the father was, but she claimed it was a mysterious man from the martial realm. Thanks to the men no longer forcing a marriage contract, the pressure on their family was reduced, though some still held skepticism over the sudden pregnancy.

Nobody except Valentia and her family present that night in that room knew the truth, that it was a fake pregnancy which would have her return to normal within another four months. Or so they thought. Three months before the pill's effects should wear off, Valentia feels a sudden kick in her stomach. She's flabbergasted that something moved inside her, she uses her aura to inspect herself to find that there was an actual baby in her stomach. She thought it was impossible since she's never slept with any man, so she questions on how this is possible.

She tried doing research into what could have happened, only to discover that the pill that she was supposed to take was completely different to the one she ingested. They couldn't figure out anything about the mysterious pill she had taken that night, only that the pregnancy which was supposed to be a ruse was now an authentic pregnancy.

Her father tried to kill the unborn child; Valentia was begging him not to saying that she would take care of her child. He wouldn't listen and had used some of his cultivation base to attempt to kill the child, only to receive a backlash once his Qi neared the child. Her father became crippled from this simple exchange which ended with him dying two weeks later.

After nine months since Valentia took that mysterious pill, she gave birth to a healthy boy with obsidian black hair and silver-grey eyes. This would be the beginning of the journey of a boy with no father finding his way in the world.
