Chapter 28 Sword Techniques

"There's no need we already spoke to Anna, I misunderstood the situation, I'm sorry," my mum said with a smile on her face.

"Forgive me for asking but what did you think I was doing, I have no idea what you thought I was doing?" I asked.

"I thought you forcefully slept with her because she's your maid"

"And why would I do that, do you think I can't get a girl, didn't you see last time, you were the one that stopped..." 

Fuck, I quickly stopped as I realized what I was talking about, the first time my mum walked in on me when I was about to bang Freya.

"Last time, what last time? Did something happen?" My dad asked looking at my mum but she faced away and then he turned towards me.

"It's nothing" I muttered as I also faced away, I'm not going to tell my dad my mum walked in when I was about to have sex.

This was the most awkward meal we've had since I was born, we all are in silence and once I had eaten enough I stood up and went back to my room.

There are still two days before I start the academy so I should probably do things I'll not be able to once I go to the academy, but there are more things to do in the academy like magic spell books.

Magic spell books are book that contains information about a spell or group of spells, most of them were written long ago but the first users of magic while some were written fairly new as new spells were researched every day.

I'm sure my mum won't let me go out and my dad won't be able to practice with me since he just came back, ohh I should ask someone else among the guards.

As soon as I stood up from the bed I heard a knock on the door, "Come in" I spoke and Anna walked in.

"I'm sorry for what I did yesterday, it's not going to repeat itself" Anna spoke as she bowed her head.

"It's not a problem, I'll be gone in two days so you can sleep on my bed if you want" 

"How could I, I'll keep your room clean every day till you return on a break" Anna muttered.

"Breaks, they do have those at the academy, can you find my training clothes?" I asked Anna and she found them and left my room.

I put on my training clothes and walked outside of the mansion, we had a training ground where me and my dad usually spar but now I'm looking for a partner and...I stopped as my eyes caught someone.

The first and only one I've seen since I came to this world, a beast woman.

Different species lived in this world but each of them had their kingdoms, cities, and villages so they did not trespass or wage war on any kingdom, one of those kingdoms was the beast kin.

Beastkin were just like humans but they had properties of beasts, the one in our mansion was found by my father outside the kingdom, apparently she and her parents were attacked by beasts and she was left alone when my dad found her.

She was part wolf and had wolf ears, furry skin, and a tail, but she was beautiful, my dad trained her and now she was working as a guard in the mansion, humans were not too fond of beastkin so she didn't leave the mansion.

"Lilith" I muttered as I walked towards her.

"Hello young master, how may I help you" she spoke bowing her head.

"I need a training partner, my dad is busy" I muttered.

"They are others you can ask, I don't think I can be a good training partner, I'm sorry" Lilith muttered with her head down.

"Why did you think I came to you, apart from my dad, is there anyone stronger than you in this mansion" I asked and she couldn't speak.

Beastkin were physically strong, and if trained they had twice the strength of a trained human being but all of them couldn't use magic except for one of their specie which was the nine-tailed fox, a powerful spirit beast that ruled their kingdom, I don't know if it's a rumor or not.

"Then we'll use wooden swords" Lilith muttered.

'She's afraid of injuring me, is she that powerful, well it's always good to train with someone powerful'

"Okay" I turned around and walked to the training ground, There were different weapons there including wooden swords and I picked one and tossed one over to her.

Before we start the duel I need to clear something up, sword style differs in different kingdoms, here in the human cities they use the Sword God technique which I have yet to master, the technique was one of the main reasons we had to attend the academy.

Beastkin uses the Beast God technique, I've read about it in books but I haven't seen it and I'm sure Lilith wouldn't use it, it's a technique where the beast goes on all fours and uses their mouths to hold their sword and fight, humans can never learn something like that since they were not beasts.

There are other sword techniques but they are not being used because no one can learn a technique on his own, you need a master to train you but that's just not true, the people who invented the techniques didn't have someone to train them.
