2 Learning The Ropes Pt. 1

I began to make my way to my last class of the period and felt a dreading presence looming around me. As I looked up from the floor, I noticed Mark and his friends walking toward me.

"Yo, did you get our work done?" Mark asked.

I closed my eyes then sighed. "I didn't get it finished. Long nig-nngh!!"

Mark gripped my shirt as he pinned me against the locker. "I don't give a fuck about what kind of night you've had...I gave you an order, Bitch Boy. I expected you to get it done."

I grunted and looked around seeing people were watching. I noticed Whitney and Gloria watching from afar within the crowd.

"In front of a ladies? C'mon man, I know you got some type of backbone within you!" Lustie said to me.

I looked at Mark and noticed his arrogant smirk. I do have a backbone...but the last time I tried to fight back he beat the shit out of me.

I lowered my head and sighed. 'Fuck it...' I uttered to myself.

I grunted as I shoved Mark off me. Mark stumbled back with a surprised look on his face then he held his arms out, stopping his friends from walking forward.

"So you must've forgot the last time you did this.." Mark said cracking his knuckles.

I took a deep breath and caught him off guard with a swift left hook. The crowd began hyping up the fight, taking their phones out to record. I didn't let Mark rest as I continued my onslaught of punches fueled by my anger. Mark couldn't do anything except guard himself until he found an opening then went for the immediate jab to my face.

My adrenaline was already too high, allowing me to endure his punch. I yelled as I delivered a clean haymaker, knocking Mark down.

"Oh shit!" Lustie laughed and clapped.

The crowd was wild at this point, gathering the attention of multiple Professors and the security. They pushed themselves through the crowd to get Mark's friends off me while a Professor grabbed me.

"Stop Shiro! Stop it!" The Professor yelled and grunted as she was getting hit as well.

I began to stop swing as I heard her voice. I calmed down and looked up to see who had me in their arms. It was a face of the only Professor I could tolerate, Ms. Okabe, Professor Akira.

Akira sighed and looked at the scene. 'Damn...he was really beating his ass this time...'

"Who started it this time?" The Security Guard asked, sighing.

"Do you even feel the need to ask that? Look you already know what to do, as always I've got Shiro.." Akira said.

"Right..." The Security Guard said. "Alright you damn goons. You already know what I'm telling your coach."

"Fuck man! That dumb ass prick! Oooh, he better watch his fucking back.." Mark grumbled as he was being escorted away.

Lustie smirked as she followed Akira as she escorted me to her class. "Hell yeah my dude! You totally rocked his shit~ You even had Whitney and Gloria impressed!"

I kept my head hanging low. Even though I did win the fight, I could feel impending doom lurking around the corner. I didn't feel good at all.

I sat in Akira's class and kept my head down. I tried to forget about everything that happened an hour ago, but I couldn't forget the sensation I felt while fighting. I felt good to finally clobber him for once, but just like with Gloria...it was all Luck with catching him off guard.

I felt someone poke my side then turned my head, opening my eyes to acknowledge the person that wanted my attention. I noticed it was Gloria and sat up.

"You okay..?" She whispered to me.

"Meh...I'll be fine.." I answered then slouched in my seat.

Gloria looked at me then smiled at me. "What happened earlier...it was really nice seeing you beat that douchebag up for once..~"

I looked at Gloria then smiled at her. "Thanks..."

Gloria chuckled softly then went back to paying attention to Akira's lesson.

"Okay, I know you're focusing on Gloria right now...but holy shit your Professor is so fucking fine. Asian chicks...oh my god.." Lustie said then giggled as she watched Akira.

I watched at Akira as well with my arms crossed, checking her out with Lustie. Akira was pretty damn attractive to me. She always had her hair in a bun, rarely letting her hair hang low, her nice pale green eyes always seemed to hypnotize me when I look at them, and her figure...

"Oh yeah..~ Those curvy hips...her breasts. We're definitely pursuing her after we get you right with ladies more of your speed." Lustie said and giggled.

I closed my eyes and smiled. I could get used to this new life, if only I didn't continuously have annoying flies always surrounding me whenever they got the chance.

Classes went by smoothly and the bell rang, dismissing classes. I gathered my things and heard Akira calling me. I walked over to her desk and waited for the last few students to leave the class.

"I'll wait outside for you." Gloria said and smiled at me.

"Okay." I said, watching her to leave the classroom.

Akira took her glasses off and sighed. "Are you feeling alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said, crossing my arms.

Akira looked at me then sat back in her chair. "I've never seen you actually...fight back. You even hit me a few times.."

I looked down, feeling a bit bad for hitting her. "Sorry about that...I was just so tired of Mark and his stupid friends making me do your work because they're too stupid to understand the advanced Laws of Motion."

'Fucking jocks...' I mumbled afterwards.

Akira stood up and sighed, walking over to me. She gently rubbed my back. "You always have my number if you need someone to vent to. I am somewhat your therapist now..."

I smiled and uncrossed my arms. "I know...I know. I just want to handle my own problems without others having to save me all the time. I want to beat these stupid Bitch Boy allegations. I'm tired of everyone bullying me because I have nothing to my name."

"I mean you do have your own house here with the help of your Legal Guardian. And you have a Full Ride here meaning you're basically attending here for free...and you do have the highest grades of all the Freshman.." Akira started then chuckled as I nudged her.

"You know what I mean...but thank you for cheering me up.." I said then sighed. "So glad this day is over.."

"You and me both partner...Hey, I'll catch you tomorrow. I'll call you tonight to check up on you again. You didn't pick up last night, so I'm hoping you will tonight." Akira said, rubbing my head gently.

"I will. Last night was a long night...didn't want to be bothered, but I'll answer this time." I said.

"Good~ Now get outta here, kid..~" Akira said, playfully pushing my head away from her.

I chuckled and made my way to the door. "See ya, Ms. Okabe."

I left the classroom and shook my head with a smile. I looked around then noticed Gloria on her phone waiting for me. I walked over to her and tapped her shoulder. "Hey, you ready?"

Gloria and I began to lightly stroll down the bustling hallway of other students. I hadn't walked side by side with Gloria since orientation and I could feel my heart racing just from her presence. I couldn't help but steal glances at Gloria, admiring her perfect beauty, feeling honored to even be walking with her.

"C'mon dude, throw some lines already!" Lustie said.

'Lust-E can you assist me, please?' I thought to Lust-E, knowing she could hear my thoughts.

Gloria smiled at me noticing how shy I was. "What's up?~"

I averted eye contact a bit then looked at her. "Sorry...you were just so beautiful I forgot what I was going to say.."

Gloria blushed and giggled a bit, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh?~ Maybe if I look away you'll remember..~" she replies, her voice tinging with a hint of flirtation as she playfully looked away from me.

This interaction did open up an opportunity for us to talk, making our stroll to the entrance much better. As we passed by more students, some of their eyes are filled with envy at the way I could make Gloria smile and laugh.

We finally made our way to the entrance and prepared to part ways. Gloria had stopped me and took out her phone, unlocking it and handing it to me. I looked at her a bit surprised.

Her smile sent shivers throughout my body. I didn't hesitate to add my number to her phone and she saved it then texted me to lock in my number.

"There..~ I'll send you a nice picture to use as my profile photo~" Gloria giggled then gently stroked my chin with her finger. "Bye Shiro~"

I waved and awkwardly chuckled. "Bye...uh..Gloria.."

Gloria giggled and walked off to go home. I smiled and began to make my way home.

"You don't have to tell me twice..." I said then began running off.

"Hell nah!" Mark yelled as he ran after me.

My heart began racing as I ran down the sidewalk, trying to find ways to lose Mark and his gang. This chased felt like it was going on for eternity, and my energy was beginning to wane. My legs began burning with exertion, but I kept pushing myself letting my adrenaline take control.

I couldn't stop running. I would rather die from a stroke than to die by getting my shit caved in by Mark and his gang. As I ran around my massive neighborhood, I noticed one of my neighbors had their backyard fence open.

"Yes..!" I said to myself then stopped running and panted.

Mark finally caught up with me and smirked. "You thought you could lose us..?"

I turned around and looked at Mark. I smirked then used my fingers to whistle loudly. Mark and his gang watched me then heard loud barking.

The guy relaxing in his lounge chair noticed his dogs barking and running outside then sat up quickly. "Coco! Regel!"

Mark and his gang noticed two pitbulls running out my neighbor's backyard. Some of his friends backed away.

"Hold!" The man said as he walked outside, controlling his dogs with a simple command. He looked at the scenery then looked at me. "Hmph...my daughter tells me about you Mark. Didn't wanna take you for a degenerate, but I guess it's looking like you are.."

"Mr. Dawn.." Mark said then scoffed. "Lucky break again, prick. You better keep watching your back."

Whitney hurried outside after seeing what was going on. "Shiro..!"

I panted softly, and smiled. "Thank you...Mr. Dawn.."

"Don't mention, son. Come in, take a rest. I was just preparing the grill to make some barbeque for dinner." Mr. Dawn said.

I nodded and walked toward them and Whitney helped me inside. I was definitely too tired to go out after this, so Lustie decided to save our lessons for tomorrow.
