Chapter 52 Miserable
Lee's Pov...
"H-How did this happen?"
I snapped my attention from Cathy as a voice rose behind. I recognized the voice right away. It was Jacob. I won't forget him, of course.
He was so fast. It didn't take a long time for him to arrive here. Yet, I didn't want to bother about him or about anything in this world except Cathy. She had been making herself sick for crying too much.
Jacob ran to the body and knelt before it as tears ran down his cheeks silently. "I wasn't able to protect you, Your Majesty. Please, forgive me."
The rain had stopped but the sky was still so gloomy as if the explosion was yet to come.
Many people had gathered here already. All of them seemed so shocked. I knew what they were thinking about. It was all about the Queen and Jacob. They were wondering how this woman came here, how she was murdered, and why Jacob was reacting like this. Since most of them didn't know what Jacob really was.
"H-he is from Jinxx."
