Chapter 21 Attached
"Love? What's that? The king doesn't know about it." I didn't expect such a reply from him. He was either playing clueless or didn't really know what love is.
The little girl pouted her lips. "I didn't ask this question to my mother. But we all have parents and we always want to be with them. I think that's love." I smiled at her smart reply.
First of all, she got the courage to converse with the King in front of such a crowd, and then again, she was explaining to him the answers to his questions. If I were in her place, I would have been crying already.
"From childhood till now, I have never wanted to be with them. I guess that's why I don't know what love is." He mumbled so softly, not letting the kids hear his utterance.
Hold on, he never wanted to be with his parents! There must be some reasons behind it. And if it was this way from his childhood, his intention was the same even when his father was alive. That meant nothing had changed.
