47 Chapter 47

Logan was standing in front of the mountain ash, pushing it with all his might. The light veil which showed up tried resisting Logan, but he didn't give up. The reason he stopped the first time was because the man shot him, now, he knew he could try this all he wanted. 

He tried doing it, and the longer he attempted it, the more fear the man felt. 

After some minutes, he stopped. He was breathing heavily, however, the man was still safe in the circle of the mountain ash. 

When the man saw that Logan was unable to break through the mountain ash's barrier, he heaved a sigh of relief. 

Logan looked at the man with contempt before walking off to pick up a piece of wood. The wood was around twelve inches thick. Without a second thought, he swung it at the man. 

Compared to the small stick he used the first time, this one sent the man flying out of the circle. The man crashed some meters away from the circle, coughing heavily with his hands on his chest. He was writhing in pain.
