"Mu Yue has just started spending time with me and she already has to leave?!"

"She will but when she is stronger. Maybe if she reaches the 3rd or 4th step of the Foundation Establishment Stage." Zhi Li explained.

"That's around half a year later... but why ONE WHOLE YEAR? It's too long."

"Mu Yue needs to learn to be independent. Ever since she arrived at the school, she was always with you. What if you two were separated? Even if she was strong, not knowing what decision to make when alone will endanger her. Then there's also you two being in a relationship. I'm sure the two of you will get worried if you are not by each other's side. This is good but can also be a bad trait."

Mu Yue thought about it before saying, "I agree. I will do the task when the time has come. My goal is to become strong, and it is one of the steps to achieve it."

"I'm happy that you agreed. Since we still have half a year before you do the task, I should probably train you well. Notify me if you successfully walked in the middle of the pond with your ice."

"Yes, father."

When the principal left, Xiao Yan stared at Mu Yue. "You have two choices right now... First, we spend time together as planned. Second, you work hard so you will become more prepared when you do the task. I personally would like you to choose the first option, but your life is at risk and you should probably do the second one."

"Thank you for that but although I said that I hope to become strong, the reason why I want that is to be together with you. Of course, I will choose the first option. I will have plenty of time to practice with the time remaining."

Xiao Yan smiled, "Thankfully, you chose that. I'm sure that when you train with your father, you wouldn't have much time for leisure."

Since Mu Yue was going to a task after half a year for a whole year, Xiao Yan made sure to cherish every moment.

A week after, Mu Yue can now steadily walk towards the middle of the pond. She can't run yet, but with this, her control should now be better. On the last night, she was able to run across the pond as the moon helps on her control.

"Father, I can now walk towards the middle of the pond."

"That's good. By the way, the other students in the special class will arrive tomorrow or the day after. It took a while for them as they decided to go here together instead of when they can."

"Mhm, what about my training?"

"Hmm... let's go towards a training ground. I will explain to you when we arrive."

The two arrived in a rather large building. Mu Yue saw that the building only has few people inside.

"What is this building called, father?"

"Hmm... I forgot. We just go here to train in peace so we never bothered about the name. It has training rooms that are improved using various devices. We will be using a medium-size private training room."

They then entered a room and the lights inside lit up. They were crystals that shine using spiritual energy from a source. Other than the lights, the room was empty. It was a rectangular 10x15m room, with the floor, walls, and ceiling made of some type of sturdy stone.

The principal then said, "This room can withstand even the maximum power of a core formation cultivator. Don't worry about damaging it."

"What training am I going to do?"

"First, attack me with all you got, but only using your ice. Then I will form a training plan based on what I observe. Do it until you are exhausted since I also need to measure your limit. Don't let me down."

Mu Yue nodded, "Understood"

She went some distance away from the principal. She then stopped regulated her breathing. As she exhaled, she was now ready to start.

From Mu Yue's feet, ice spread towards the position of Zhi Li. His legs was covered with ice. He glanced below and moved his feet which broke the ice. As he looks in front of him, two Ice shards were coming to him.

Covering his body with spiritual energy, the two ice shards shattered to pieces upon contact. Mu Yue frowned, not knowing if her attacks are strong or were just really weak. Nonetheless, she continued to attack until she gets to her limit.
