'Shock Punch' is a Martial Technique that causes a shockwave upon impact. This was what hit Mu Yue after she blocked the punch. Because of this attack, Fei Hong escaped Mu Yue's suppression.

Mu Yue got pushed back away from Fei Hong. The attack didn't do much damage to her but the Sword Qi surrounding her sword diminished. She slowly replenishes the Sword Qi in her sword while fighting with Fei Hong.

She has no choice but to use more energy than expected. Fei Hong keeps on forcing her to fight back. She could dodge some attacks but whenever she blocks, her arms get wear out because of the vibrations caused by the impacts. She has to strike back to force Fei Hong to block or at least slow his attacks.

Mu Yue kept count of the time. Three minutes have passed since the battle began. She wondered if Fei Hong will use his all or he would stop after a percentage of his energy was used up. She has yet to see any signs of Fei Hong slowing down or getting exhausted.

Mu Yue decided to try and end the fight sooner. She will launch a heavy attack that will hit Fei Hong. As a body cultivator, Fei Hong's defenses were stronger than her. If the attack caused considerable damage, she will proceed to be on the offensive.

"Rupture Strike"

Seeing this, Fei Hong used his arms to block. When the strike landed, a crack could be seen on the protective covering that was on Fei Hong's arm. Mu Yue decided to focus her attacks on the cracks.

"Rain Strike"

Fei Hong didn't have time to dodge as multiple sword thrusts hit his arms. It broke the protective covering on Fei Hong's arms, causing some attacks to pass through it.

The attacks were suddenly blocked by something that was hidden on Fei Hong's robes. Mu Yue quickly distanced herself after the attack failed.

"You really attack fast Mu Yue. Your techniques also complement each other. You even managed to destroy the spiritual energy that protects my arms. Fortunately, I was wearing arm guards beneath my robes." Fei Hong mentioned.

Mu Yue could only see the gauntlets that Fei Hong wore. His robes were so long that they properly covered the arm guards hidden beneath. She can now see the arm guards through the ripped sleeves.

"The spiritual energy that covers your body is already tough. You are also a body cultivator so your body will possess more defense than the others. Now with your arm guard, I doubt I could defeat you within the time limit." Mu Yue said.

Mu Yue abandoned the thought of being in the offensive. She has a high chance of defeating Fei Hong in a fight because of her higher cultivation level. However, doing so will exhaust her. She only has 15 minutes of rest after every fight.

"Hmm… If it stays like this it will end up as a draw." Fei Hong muttered.

He then faced the teacher in charge of their battle and said, "I concede"

This shocked Mu Yue. She then asked, "Didn't you say you are going to use your all to defeat me?"

"I thought about it and came to the conclusion that 5 minutes is not enough for our fight. Maybe you could defeat me within this time limit but you will be left with low energy. I might also have the chance of defeating you through a battle of attrition. I could try to be more aggressive but you will in turn try to waste time to win." Fei Hong replied back.

Mu Yue agreed with this. Whoever the defender has the advantage of time. She then thanked Fei Hong for the fight. Now she still has a lot of energy to use to the upcoming fights. She decided to try to replenish her energy within 15 minutes.

On Xiao Yan's side, she easily defeated her opponent. Her opponent was a body cultivator that should have an advantage against her, but her higher cultivation as well as her battle tactics completely dominated the other side. When they were at close combat, Xiao Yan will just stall for time before casting 'Fire Burst'.

The fight for 2nd place ended up on Li Jie's overwhelming victory. He has better swordsmanship, experience as well as higher cultivation compared to Jun Qing. Jun Qing realized that even if he gave it his all it will still end up as his lost so he conceded just like Fei Hong.
