57 Compromise

"Chaos, what is she talking about?" Lucifer repeats Dante's question. We're all staring at him, and yet, his eyes are only on me. 

That's why that name felt familiar. Little fawn. It feels, like I've heard it so many times. And now it's confirmed that I have. 

Another memory creeps into my head. It's only a small set of words. One of them being a question. 

"Why do you call me little fawn?"

Chaos gives me a smirk that kickstarts my heart. "That's a secret."

"Noelle, why did you call him shepherd?"

"Because ten years ago, I ran into a strange man in a forest. He introduced himself as shepherd and told me we meet on a particular day, every year."

"And you're just recalling this-"

"CHAOS, WHAT THE ABSOLUTELY FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!"

Lucifer and Dante both look enraged. Good for them, but I'm dizzy and being suspended in the air isn't helping my situation at all.
