1 Villia Lainiesta

In the middle of the night, a shadow of human can be seen running through the forest as if being chased by something. No one can be seen pursuing that shadow, yet the shadow never stops to rest and keep moving forward without looking back to look for the pursuer.

The moonlight shone on the shadow and revealed the beauty that's hidden deep in the darkness. Silver blue hair can be seen flowing out of the girl black hood while her yellow eyes shone on a dark night, looking at the surrounding carefully as she runs and chooses a route to go to.

The beasts around the girl become restless and start to track her as she moves through the forest. It's only one or two beasts at first, yet the number keep and keep increasing as she keeps running and soon the beast has already formed a horde to chase her.

The beast smells an alluring smell coming from the girl. It's an aroma that stimulates their instinct which makes those beasts go to her location without any second thought, not caring about the beasts who run beside them.

The smell that makes the beasts excited originates from the blood of her enemies that splattered all over her body. To be exact, it's not the blood that causes them frenzy to chase her, but it's something that got mixed with the blood. Something that every beast would love to taste, and make those beasts pursues her mindlessly while disregarding the surroundings.

The girl keeps running, while occasionally throw a throwing knife to her surrounding, and rushes with even greater speed than before after she throws those knives.

A mark revealed on top of her hand every time she throws a throwing knife. The mark on her hand illustrates that of a Trelia Snake, a snake which is best known for its various way to kill its prey and it also serves as the mark of the Dark Assassin — Trelia Way. And the girl is one of the members of Trelia Way, no…calling her a member wouldn't be right, as she's running away from them now which also mean that she has betrayed them.

While the girl focused on running, two throwing knives arrive in front and her back without any warning. With a glance, the girl has known that the knives thrown to her are laced with paralytic poison which will make her numb for at least 3 days before she can move again. It also makes her know that Trelia Way tries to catch her alive!

"Tch" the girl's face becomes irritated after seeing the poison they use and skillfully evaded it with the skill she has honed for the last 8 years. She knows that stabbed with one of the poison will mean an end for her! Although she wouldn't die, she knows that she will experience something that's even worse than death! That's also why the girl didn't let herself to be careless and dodge the throwing knives while throwing her own throwing knife at her opponent who revealed their position.

The assassin look at the knife thrown to him, smirks at her pointless action, easily dodged the knife without any effort and used stealth as soon as he can, to hide from the girl's eyes once again. The girl expressed her annoyance when she saw the assassin quickly gone back to hiding as soon as his location is known. Although she can easily know his location by focusing with her eyes, focusing on this kind of situation would only make it worse as there are other assassins who want to kill her here!

"Villia Lainiesta!!"

"Come back with us to our Trelia Way headquarters!"

"And all of your wrongdoings will be forgiven!"

"Choose wisely, or you'll face a fate that's even worse than death itself!"

The assassin voices resound on the forest. The girl — Villia Lainiesta didn't even turn to look around at the sounds that come from every different part of the forest. All she expresses is ridicule on her face as she shouts at them.

"Forgiven? Like hell, you will do anything like that! Why don't you be honest and say that I'll be made as an example to scare other potential betrayers? I don't care how many of you come to get me, all I need to say is…get ready to get killed by me!" with that Villia stab at the air behind her, and there revealed an assassin who wants to sneak attack her.

The assassins who got stabbed by her reveal his surprise. He has been concealing himself from the dark, not making any sound, ready himself to stab the girl in front of him, even if he needs to sacrifice his speed to fulfill his goal. The seniors around him would even say that his concealment is perfect! Yet! All it took is a moment, for the girl to discover him and stab his heart without even looking at him!

He knows that the girl is genius, yet he never imagines it's much more monstrous, and he died while thinking all of the year honing his assassination skill is worthless compared to the little girl in front of him who isn't even half his age.

Villia didn't seem to have any change of expression when she killed him. She has been trained to kill people for 8 years, and killing has becomes a habit for her.

Villia didn't let down her guard after successfully killing one of her enemies, and soon her decision proves to be right as she has suddenly parry a sudden assassin attack while throwing one of her throwing knives with her other hand into the shadow which successfully pierces through the assassin throat.

"As expected of our organization genius, but…even if you're a genius…there's Only one result for you who betray us! Throw it!" numerous throwing knives are thrown to Villia to ensure that there's no path for her to run! The assassins who attack her earlier also retreat back as soon as he can and go back to his stealth after he saw this scene.

'They're too careful in dealing with a kid aren't they!?' Villia sighs in her heart as dealing with those who know her prove harder than dealing with those who didn't know her. Fighting someone who knows her would make them let their guard down when they saw that she's a girl and a kid at the same time, but fighting those who know her capabilities prove harder for her to counter.

She let out a sigh and wonders why did she choose to be high-profile before. In the end, there's only one answer that comes to her mind, and that is…survival.

Yes, all of it is for her own survival.

She has tried to use her unique abilities to look at people status to survive until now. It's an ability she's born with and has been used by her since she's born. With that abilities, she's able to see her advantage and disadvantage and also look at other people weakness to exploit it.

Her abilities will also be activated by itself and give the information to her brain as soon as someone or something enters 5-meter range around her, and of course, she can deactivate these abilities if she wants to disable it. It's also the reason why she's able to detect the hidden enemies that want to sneak attack on her.

Truthfully, she leads a happy life in the Trelia Way, as compared to other children, she will always get special treatment from them. Yet! Her peaceful life becomes pieces the moment her instructor ordered her to learn the art of seduction!

Art of seduction, there are many parts of it, but it mainly contains the way to surrender to man or woman after failed assassination, how to make yourself more seductive than before, how to pretend as a prostitute, or how to please man at the bed. Which make her shiver and vomit all of the food she had eaten that day.

Just imagining herself pleasing man with her body is unbearable to her, but all she can do is smile and promise that she will do it to the instructor that has been looking at her with his perverted eyes, which result in her running away from the organization before she done any act that will disgrace her purity!

And this is the end result of it. Pursuits by assassins from all side, not to mention their blood are mixed with Beast enticing potion to call beasts here! Whether she's numbed by one of the assassins here and brought back to the headquarters, or killed by the mob of beasts that are coming over here… The end result is suffering which let her know, Trelia Way wouldn't let her go easily.

Even so, she has also readied herself for the worst end as inside her mouth now, exists a black poison pill which will kill her once she bite it. There wouldn't be a problem if she swallows it as it will only make her experience stomached for a few days, but, biting it would make the pill, poison her to death almost instantly.

Villia didn't become discouraged at all when she saw those numerous knives which are thrown to her location with extreme precision.

She dashes ahead toward the assassins who fight her earlier and manage to grab him and pull him down. The assassin who saw her action frown and tried to escape by making her hands let go of him. The difference in strength between male and woman are drastic, more so the differences between an adult and a kid, yet the assassin get pulled down by the little girl easily!

He didn't know why at first, but seeing how Villia body falls to the ground make him realize that she's using her body weight to pull him down! The assassin loses his balance because of her, yet he didn't give up and still trying to run before the rain of knives arrive. He tried to stand, yet without him knowing, Villia has thrown her last throwing knife at his leg and make him instantly fall.

The Assassin body falls on top of her, covering Villia body, while the rain of knives arrive and pierces his back mercilessly!

*Stab, stab, stab, stab.*

The assassin falls into a state of numbness as soon as the knives pierce his back. Although the numbness will lessen his pain, it may as well kill him as he has heard the ground rumbling around him which means their time is up and their mission would end as the little girl will die, killed by all of these beasts. Of course, he included.

"Those beasts are coming. We will retreat now."

The assassins who heard their boss order didn't ask any question and abandoned their teammate without any second thoughts and run as fast as they can.

Nobody thinks that the girl will survive as even them with full gear and healthy body will die against those beasts, not to mention a tired little girl like her. No matter how much genius she is, in the end, she's not a warrior, but an assassin. Frontal fight is never an assassin forte, and assassin definitely wouldn't survive against a mob of beasts that's out for their blood.

Villia gets rid of the numbed assassin with a kick and get up from the ground. Her body is dirty with blood and dirt mixed up, yet she didn't care a bit about it and keep looking at the distant shadows while sighing helplessly.

"Sigh, Am I going to die here?"

Numerous beasts come from all kind of direction into her location. The first to arrive is coming from the way she comes from before, while more's coming from left and right. The only option left is going forward, yet that's the place where the groups of assassins run to.

Villia takes a mouthful of breath into her mouth and readied her stance. She didn't care anymore! No…she didn't want to care anymore! No matter if there's path of life or not, she wouldn't care about it anymore. She has been trying to survive until now, no matter the method, as long as she survives! And now, she'll make her last stand here…to struggle…and fight those beasts to carve a path of life!
