Chapter 9 The Temple of The Ancient

Right as I let Yamato absorb Morph Materia, Ifalna start to walk toward the Well beside it while mumbling about. The same happen to Aerith as they now both crouching beside the well hearing a voice. I can hear it too but I tried my best to ignore it.

"This is the Well of knowledge, it is full of the conciousness of the Ancients." Ifalna said as she tried hard to listen it.

"Let it be, Ifalna. We dont came here for the Knowledge." I Said and she wake up from her trance.

"Come, we still need to explore this temple." I Said and she nodded before following me.

"By the way, beside it is a training for Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith what are coming here for?" Asked mom and they all now look at me.

"I am here for a Materia. You know that Ifalna is in possession of the white Materia right? Here in this place is the opposition of it the Black Materia. I am here to obtain that." I answer her.

"But for what? And what power did this Materia has?" she asked.

"Nothing, just to hold onto it. This Materia is dangerous that it can destroy the world. Leaving it here for someone to pick that might be evil is not my style. What with the Shinra being interested with the Promise Land that the Ancient depicted. They will come here to find answer and if they get a hold of it, it will be disastrous." I said.

"You are right, with how power-hungry they were is. This things will lead to disasters." said Ifalna.

"But, are you confidence that you are not going to get corrupted holding into that kind of power?" asked Rena a little afraid.

"Yes, I am. Because I don't need this kind of power to destroy the world. My creation is enough to destroy the planet." I answer her, though if given time I can be powerful enough to do that alone.

After going through the Clock puzzle, we now arrive at the Mural Room. As we walk in, we are greeted by a red Dragon.

"A Dragon, now this will be a challenge." I said as we spread out to take it down with me and Cloud facing it head on.

"You ready for a fun fight Cloud." I said while clicking Yamato taking an Iai stance.

"This is what we came here for." he said drawing Sparda out. He still can't dual wielding it.

"Then, let's see what its got!" I said while using "Judgement Cut!" drawing a few wounds making it angry at me, Effectively drawing its agro.

"Come on big guy, you better worth it!" I said taunting it, making it angrier.

"Hooh, so it have intelligent enough to get angry." I said as I dodge a breath coming my way.

"Cant you fight normally?" said Cloud as he jumps high and strikes on its head. While Aerith casting a Blizzaga on its feet and Tifa using her Railgun mode are shooting its wing.

"Can't do that Cloud, it is the way of Sparda to taunt their opponent," I answer him as I shoot out an energy sword to its head.

"The hell is that? What is that have to do with my sword?" mumbled Cloud which was heard by me making me smirk.

While this was going on Rena was running on its tail up to its head before kicking it on the head while mom is focused on shooting towards its eyes to distract it.

Angry being attack from all over the place. It's spin and launched a tail whip, Forcing us to dodge but Rena whom just land after kicking it's head didn't get time and was caught in its attack.

"MOM!" shouted Tifa in concern.

"Ifalna, you take care of her!" I said as I lol at the Dragon that starts to fly and was charging a breath.

"Oh no, you don't! Get over here!" I said as I use Devil Bringer on its snout and pulled it back to the ground creating a massive quake.

Because I disrupt its charging time it was now down in confusion.

"Now guys, deal as many damages as you can!" I said as jump over its body.

"Your ability to fly is a hassle. So, I will take away your wings." I said as I cut its wings.

Tifa was in her berserk mode, hammering its head with her Gauntlet down and down. Cloud at the side attack one of its arm. Aerith was now Right beside it's neck, holding her Halberd upward, Gathering as many mana as she can to raise its weight to the limit and brought it down. Cutting one-fourth of its neck but it was still alive. While it was going on, mom was stepping on its snout while shooting a sniper rifle on its eyes repeatedly hoping for it to reach the brain. But, the eyelid of the Dragon is tougher than its scale making her effort meaningless l.

Seeing one-fourth of its neck chopped, I jump up and gather demonic energy on Yamato before cutting the neck completely, killing it.

"Well, that was one tough bastard!" I said Jokingly while looking at Rena who was already healed walking toward us.

"You okay, Rena?" I ask her making Tifa look up before running toward her hugging here saying how worried she was.

"Yeah, just a concussion Nothing much. It was already healed by Ifalna though, thanks for asking." she answers.

"That's good!" I said while nodding. "Now, there is a Bahamut Materia here, who wants it?" I asked not needing it as I have Bahamut Zero which was stronger.

"Dont want it." said Aerith and Tifa.

"I don't have the Mana to do a summon." said Rena.

"Not interest, I already study it once." said mom while Ifalna just shook her head.

In the end, Cloud gets it as the girls don't want i. He just nodded in gratitude while equipping it on a bracer we found in the temple which he likes.

Walking toward the altar, Ifalna start to talk with the Ancient spirit to asked where the Black Materia is.

"So, you found out where it is?" I asked her.

"Yeah, this Temple is the Black Materia itself and to change it back to a Materia, someone has to solve the Puzzle while inside the temple as the temple will continue to shrink, killing the solver." she said.

"That, it is impossible to get then? I don't want to sacrifice anyone just to get it." said Tifa.

"Calm down Tifa! I have a way. For now, lets leave the Temple." I said and they nodded at me.

We left the Mural but as I walk over the red dragon body. I injected it with my Cell and it start to change shape into a clone of myself which was controlled by me then walk out leaving the clone to solve the puzzle.

After we left the Temple of Ancient. It start to be engulf in a black energy and start to shrink little by little, until all that's left is a crater with the Black Materia in the middle of it.

"Whoah, this is amazing." said Rena while looking at the change of the Temple while mom just nodded while looking over curiously.

I flew down the crater and take the Black Materia before fusing it with Yamato.

"Now, we retrieve the Materia. Where do you all want to go now? We deserve a vacation." I said with a smile.

""Gold Saucer"" shouted Aerith and Tifa.

"I want to go to an amusement parks once." said Aerith excitedly.

"Yeah, I also interested." said Tifa.

"I see, any objection?" I asked the other and Ifalna raised her hand.

"Can we go to the beach after that?" she asked.

"Beach? Where do you want to go?" I asked her.

"Costa del Sol," she answers and I nodded. 'I also want to see them in bikini after all.' I thought with a smile.

"Good, then let's leave!" I said.

""Oohhh"" shout Tifa and Aerith.

After boarding Arcadia, I told Alice to bring us to Gold Saucer and we left behind what was left of the Ancient Temple.
