14 Chapter 13 Cloud Years as SOLDIER
This Chapter is a filler! There will be a three years TimeSkip again. But, making a timeskip again is a bit tasteless. So I filled it with Cloud years in Shinra along with Zack.

After leaving Nibelheim, Cloud ride his new bike at full throttle and arrived at North Corel in three days. As he arrived there, he calls Zack and found out that he will arrive tomorrow as he left his village a few days earlier than him.
After the call, he look around the town, he decides to just rest at inn. After changing Fenrir into a pendant he looks for an inn and rests for the rest of the day.
The next day, Zack arrived at noon. At first, Cloud thought that they will stay for another day for Zack to rest. But, as he found out about Fenrir and seeing how cool it is. He said that they should leave immediately and he will be the driver.
Tired of Zack's constant begging and him prancing around wanting to leave immediately. Cloud could only consent to him and let him drive Fenrir.
It takes four days to reach Costa Del Sol, another week on the boat before a day again to reach Midgar.
Arriving in Midgar, they rest for a few days before sign in to be a Soldier. After a few days of the physical test today was the day of the Mako shower test which was the deciding factor if you are to be a Soldier or not. If not, according to the other test they can be a Turk or just a normal trooper.
They get an injection before being sent into a capsule and started to get showered with Mako. It should be a difficult task, but Cloud always held into the talk he had with Luke. His mentor and father figure so he can endure every obstacle that comes his way.
After a few minutes of the bath with Mako it was done and he along with Zack was accepted to be a SOLDIER.

A year has passed since he has become a SOLDIER. Besides doing a task as a SOLDIER he either going around touring Midgar with his bike or call his Mom routinely to let her know that is fine. He also meets the second mentor in his life and also his Superior, his name is Sephiroth.
He doesn't know why, but he always seems to see Luke silhouette on Sephiroth. Even though their personalities are so far apart. While Like is an easy-going and always like to joke and tease people, Sephiroth is always serious and unapproachable. Though one thing that the same is that they show cares for someone they are close to, just in different ways.
In this year both him and Zack rising through the rank fast and were now SOLDIER second class. Though Sephiroth says that he is close to reaching First Class.
Today, inside the Shinra Training room. Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis were having their usual match which results in Genesis's injury. He left to take treatment from Dr. Hollander and never seen ever again.

In October, Cloud left for Fort Tamblin along with Sephiroth while Zack is in another group with Angeal Hewley. On this mission Cloud performance was good and Sephiroth recommend that he be raised to the rank of First Class.
While Cloud was having his moment in life. Zack was going through the sadness of his Mentor and friend Angeal has been missing. Being a friend, he wants to cheer him up. But, with how awkward he is. He doesn't know how to do it, so he just takes him out on his bike and they are going around Midgar to breathe fresh air. His effort work as Zack stop mopping around the next day.
On December, Sephiroth was asked to go to Banora Village to search and capture Angeal and Genesis but refused. Instead, he recommends Cloud to go and lead the mission.
Cloud, finding about the mission took Zack with him to Banora Village. After a grueling fight, they succeed in capturing Angeal while Genesis fled. They interrogate Angeal and found out about the Jenova Project and how his and Angeal bodies are degrading. He also tells that he found out that Shinra is not what he thought to be and his Honor won't let him continue to work with them.
After leaving Angeal for the Turks to process. Cloud and a solemn Zack left-back to Midgar. On the way, Zack asked Cloud about what Angeal is talking about Shinra not what he thought it be. Cloud had been spying on Shinra for a year decide to tell him about what he knows and Zack after knowing about the dirty secret of Shinra vow to help Cloud on his spying mission.
Arriving at Midgar, they found out that Angeal escape halfway with the help of Dr. Hollander and Genesis and now they joined Wutai to fight Shinra and for more resources as they found out they need more people to fight Shinra. Zack was promoted to SOLDIER First Rank a month later and He along with Cloud and Sephiroth was send to Fort Tamblin and was greeted by an army of Angeal and Genesis clones.
After four months of never ending war with clones which make Cloud and Zack sick they were called back as Angeal and Genesis was sight in Midgar. Cloud and Zack left, leaving Sephiroth alone to hold the fort fighting the army of clones.
Arriving at Midgar which was being attacked by Genesis with his army of Clones. Cloud and Zack went to confront Genesis and fight him off. While they were fighting Genesis, they got information that Dr. Hollander and Angeal were already within Shinra stealing a document. Cloud sends Zack away as it was his mentor while he fights Genesis and his clone and for the first time since he joined Shinra, he brought Sparda out to fight as he always uses Shinra's standard sword.
He won the fight and defeat Genesis. But, he was fatally injured and was brought to Deepground along with Genesis and never seen again for a few months.
While this happened, Zack confronts Dr. Hollander and was intending to kill him only to be intercepted by Angeal. Zack orders the Turk's Tseng and Cisnei to go and capture Hollander as he fought Angeal which results in Zack's defeat and he falls to a sector 7 slump.
Zack woke up a day later and found out that he was saved by a woman named Shalua Rui. He thanked her for looking after him and told her that if she needs anything to just call him and he will help. At first, she refused but after knowing that Zack was a SOLDIER, she told him that he can help her find her sister that was kidnapped by a Turk to be converted into a SOLDIER to which Zack promise her to can't her sister.
Back to Shinra, Zack got bad news that his friend Cloud was in a coma after his fight with Genesis. He wanted to visit him but got a new mission to pursue Angeal and Dr. Hollander who successfully run along with Shinra's stolen document to Wutai.
He left for Fort Tamblin to meet up with Sephiroth and they start their cat and mouse chase with Angeal that goes on for a few months.

While Zack and Sephiroth were busy with Angeal. Cloud was experimented on by Heidegger by infusing him with Jenova Cell along with a splice of Genesis DNA before supercharged him with Mako.
Cloud woke up 14 months later at August 5th finding himself being experimented on along with a few other people. He broke out, bringing with him three people that he saved. They were Selke Rui, Rosso, and Nero. But he didn't know that Nero was loyal to Deepground and has been relaying their position back.
After finding about his Nero has been sending their position back. Cloud kill Nero then along with Shelke and Rosso left Midgar. Knowing nothing about what has been done to him along with the two. He decides to bring them back to Nibelheim to meet Luke and see what happens to them.

Back with Zack and Sephiroth, they only find out about Cloud defection by the end of September and were told to catch Angeal faster so they can start to pursue Cloud after. In this past few months Zack has grown much stronger from fighting a war and can confidently say that he can fight Angeal to a draw now.
By October 30th, they capture Angeal and kill Hollander. The Wutai declared their surrender to Shinra after that. Back in Midgar on December 3rd, Zack searching around about what happened to Cloud and found out he was experimented on and escaped the lab he was in along with two other people named Shelke Rui and Rosso.
Finding the whereabouts of Shalua's sister, he left Shinra to meet her at the slump and told her about her sister's wellbeing.
By December 20th, Zack along with Sephiroth was send to Nibelheim, Cloud's hometown to investigate as the team they send to search for Cloud has lost contact. They arrived at Nibelheim only to be rejected entry by the townspeople. It was later they found out that after coming the first team went to search for Cloud Home not finding him and decide to stay at Shinra Manor. But, a few days later. There was a roar at Shinra Manor and out of it is a Humanoid Monster that rampages around killing a few townspeople and their Mayor.
The mayor's daughter and mother kill the Shinra Soldiers in grief then defeat the Monster and capture it before they leave the town afraid that the Shinra will retaliate and the townspeople will get affected by it.
The townspeople thought that Shinra was conducting a human experiment that's gone wrong resulting in this disaster. So, they did not welcome Shinra agents in their town anymore. Zack was dumbfounded about what happens here then he left with Sephiroth after not finding anything.
