ONE: Stranger's Kiss

Another day of hell for them. Once more, Vencyl Asha or better known as Ash is obliged to be a good student, wake up early in the morning and go to school. She kept wishing to just skip schooling for her entire life.

"Stop frowning, Ash. You look uglier when you do that" Ash grimaced when she heard Gerlyka's voice from beside her.

"Yeah right! As if I care" She frown even more and sarcastically look at Gerlyka or she fondly called Ger whose eyebrows are as high as the mountains. Gerlyka just rolled her eyes at her before they continued walking 'til they reach their classroom. As usual, their classmates and the classroom is messy. The girls are gossipping, boys kept throwing papers at each other and etc. Just the normal happenings in a classroom full of teenagers.

They are both first year college students who are taking up Business Management and today is one of the other normal days for them. All of 'em are bored and some are excited, 'cause it's the last month of them being first year. Next month will be summer vacation and then hopefully, they'll be second year students after that.

They are now heading to the schools cafeteria right after the bell rang signaling their lunch breaks.

"What are your plans for this summer, Ash?" She heard Gerlyka's question and before answering her, she timidly finished eating her sandwich and gulped a few from her pineapple juice.

"Well, nothing in particular. Maybe I'll sleep all day, eat all day 'til it's hard to breath or practice basketball. Either of the three, I guess. How 'bout you, Ger?" Ash asked her back.

"I dunno. Maybe go to the bar? Hmm.. what else? Go partying with the school jocks and bimbos or anything that goes in my mind by that time" Gerlyka answered with a giggle before sipping from her drink.

"Tss! Just tell me that you wanna flirt. Well, it's your life and I don't care as long as I'm not involved" Ash scoffed on what her friend answered, thinking her friend is a bitch.

"Shut up, you tomboy! I know I'm a bitch sometimes" Gerlyka replied with a grin on her face and Ash just rolled her eyes.

"Am not a tomboy, bi*tch!" She countered her friends assault and Gerlyka just laugh her heart out due to her response.

"Oh! Poor Ash. You're too indenial. Look at you. Always wearing jeans and shirts. Good thing, you're not wearing a very large shirt! That's yuck! Not too fashionable. Know what? If I were given the same face and a body built like yours? Oh my god! I'm already on the cat walk!" Ash grimaced on her friends exagerrated insult. At least Gerlyka appreciates her beauty. Well, she always do.

The class for today had ended and Ash seems to play tug of war with her friend as they continued walking somewhere.

"Where are we going again?" Gerlyka stopped on her tracks upon hearing the same question from Ash.

"Seriously? I already told you that!" Gerlyka stomped her foot on the floor due to her frustration with her friend.

"I told you already that there's gonna be a party tonight and I need something to wear. My car is of no use, so you're gonna be a good friend of mine to drive me to the mall and accompany me while I'm shopping" She chirped feeling the excitement before she dragged Ash once more to her own car.

Ash felt defeated again. She can't say no to Gerlyka no matter what. Well, she never said no to her. After a long drive, they finally arrived to their destination. Ash helped her friend chose an outfit for the night. They've been doing that for the last couple of hours before Gerlyka settled for what seems to fit her liking.

"Finally! Let's eat, I'm starving" Ash said coldly before turning her heel to somewhere she can eat. They both dine in a fastfood restaurant, specifically at Jollibee.

Ash ordered spicy chicken with rice and soup, large fries, yum burger and a coffee mocha float. While, Gerlyka ordered spaghetti with chicken and coke float. They both savored each other's food. Once done, Ash sent her friend home then she finally gets her sleep.

"Ugh!"

Ash scratch her head due to annoyance before answering her phone. It's three o'clock in the morning and someone's already calling her phone.

"What?" She annoyingly answered her phone.

"Good morning Ash! Don't what-what me. I forgot that I don't have a car with me, so I need you to fetch me. Puh-lease?" She can imagine her friend doing the puppy dog eyes.

"Don't you have any date who can drive you home?" Instead she asked.

"Nonsense. He left me for a good for nothing whore" Ash can sense the frustration from her friend and she can't resist her anyway.

"Text me the address. Expect me in a sec." That's her last response before she ended the call. Good thing, she's always taking a bath before sleeping. She just brushed her teeth, then put her hair in a messy bun. She likes her hair long and it now reaches her waist.

She didn't bother wearing casual clothes, 'cause she's just gonna fetch her friend. So, she just wear a black oversized shirt and paired it with her maong shorts. She then wear her converse shoes and off she go.

Once she arrived at the place, she found a lot of people from the outside. Even tons of cars are parked inside and outside the house and it's not just a house, but a mansion. Ash got off her car then tried calling her friend.

"Where are you?" She hissed.

"Oh! You're here already? Can you come in? I can't seem to walk properly. Damn the alcohol!" She heard Gerlyka cursed and she knew by now that her friend's too drunk. She took the initiative and entered the premises without any invitation from anyone. Oh! She has, but it was from Gerlyka.

She's busy walking around the pool of people finding her friend, when she suddenly bumped into someone.

"Sorry" Ash immediately said then was about to turn away and look for her friend when that someone grabbed her hand which caused her to be pressed to a hard chest. To her shock, an arm was already around her lower back, so she looked up and was about to scold the person whose holding her only to find herself being kissed by a stranger.
