New Life

Volume 2

After lashing her heart out to her father,

Aurora fainted. She regained her consiousness, and began weeping.

She will oftenly go out of her room,but it

was pointless she still felt emptiness in her

heart.

Maybe my life is better off this way. she

would say to herself as she curled up on

her bed and cried herself to sleep.

****Two Months Later****

Aurora woke up strong and the will power to

live life. She decided to move on with her

life and not always curl herself up in bed

and cry her lungs out.

She descended the grand stairs and was

welcomed with the smell of food.

She wore a pink jumpsuits and tied her hair

in a ponytail. She walked to the dining hall as quick as her legs could get her to.

Good Morning* she greeted her parents.

It's seems you are in a better shape now? Her

Father said.

Yes I'm okay now.

And if I may ask off to somewhere?

Yes I'm going to SCOTTRA. I don't know

why I'm needed there but it seems it's important.

Hmm, Charles nodded and continued with

his breakfast.

Aurora what will you have? Her Mom asked.

She had been soo nice to her this past few

months. Apart from Angel she would say

her mom had been there for her as well

through her difficult face in Life and she really enjoyed the new change in her. I will have omelette please.

Rose served Aurora personally. After having

her breakfast she pegged her mom on the

cheek. Good bye Mom. "Have a nice day

baby". She gave her a faint smile and left.

Poor girl,she doesn't know anything she

thinks I'm being a mother to her,she

doesn't even know our real plans installed

for her.

Charles laughed wickedly. And I must say you are doing a great job.

Thank you dear husband.

Aurora entered Scottra with her usual slight

smile. All the workers stood up and bowed

to her the moment they saw her approaching.

Baby you arrived, Maxwell announced. Yes I

did hope you are good Maxwell?

I'm very good but I'm the one supposed to

ask that question. How are you holding up?

"I'm good Maxwell l am. I bowed my head

and wiped the small tears that were

threatening to fall down from my eyes.

So why I'm I needed here,I said after wiping

my tears which Maxwell failed to notice. It's

was even a relief that he didn't find out that I

was crying all along.

You just follow me to Jake's office. "Okay

then lead the way.

They rode in Jake's private elevator and

ding* they were on the last floor.

When they arrived in the office, Aurora was

in awee of the place.My heart was gradually squeezing in my chest. Jake's office was designed with the things l only liked.

From the interior design to the curtains,the

furnitures. None of his favorite stuff is here. And to talk of my pictures hanging all around the walls.

My Graduation pictures,our first date

together and our crazy adventures together.

My pictures were the most,it occupied every

corner of the office.

My mouth was covered with my hands as I

glanced through the office. My knees felt

weak and I fell on the ground.

I let out a loud cry. Maxwell crouched to my

level and held me in his arms.
