CHAPTER 342 

The second the door closed, Jade wasted not a second and headed straight for the bathroom. 

Even though she tried to ignore the girls, she could not deny the fact that their words got to her and now more than ever, she wanted to cool off. 

If she could not ask Xander for it, she thought to soak herself in the bathtub instead.

As he walked into the bathroom, he was hit with the sweet aroma of lavender.

The steam from the hot water rising from the bath obscured his view, but he could just make out the silhouette of his fiancé, lying back in the tub.

Xander leaned against the doorframe, watching Jade luxuriate in the warm, bubbly water.

He couldn't help but grin as she closed her eyes, sinking deeper into the tub. The soft glow of the candles cast her in a warm, flickering light that made her look even more beautiful than usual.
