Meet the Cast

Evening on the same day, inside a big hall, the crew were busy setting up the venue. Today was the press conference of the movie where Sabrina will join.

The movie was titled "Encounter", it is a story of a man and a woman who fell in love but their love was forbidden. The woman was a spy agent for the country while the man was the leader of a rebel group who wants to take down the government.

The woman was assigned to go undercover and join the rebel group to know their plans. The man originally didn't trust her, but the woman did things to prove herself. After sometime, the two of them grew closer and closer until they fell in love with each other.

Then there came a call from the woman's agency which was accidentally picked up by the man. The man was angered after he knew her real identity so he kicked out the woman from the rebel group, he knew that traitors from the group shall be exiled, but due to his love for her he just let her go.

The time came where the rebel group shall execute their plans, the man and the woman fought each other and ended up killing each other. They both knew their priorities, although they loved each other, their responsibilities should go first. They were people not deserving of love due to their occupations.

It was already 6 pm after the crew finished organizing the venue, the actors came one after another backstage. The first one to arrive was the male lead. His name is Kevin Hush. Kevin is a 26 year old actor who is well known in hollywood. He was one of the youngest actors to be an Oscar nominee and he holds a best second male lead award from Cannes Film Festival.

He also starred in several hollywood films which broke a few records. His looks were beyond average, he had black hair and brown eyes. With just one look, you would know he was a handsome man of many romantic endeavors.

Second came was the second female lead, her name is Jessica Han, she's an asian actress who was lucky to have a break in hollywood. Jessica was a knockout beauty with a hot body and a head of wavy blonde hair. Her role in the movie was to be the female lead's love rival.

Her character was in love with the male lead for so many years, they both started the rebellion group. They were together through ups and downs but never did she plan to admit her feelings. She thought that by simply staying beside the man will eventually draw them closer into a romantic relationship. But her dream was ruined when the female lead joined the group. She made things hard for her and tried her best to investigate the background of the woman.

Soon, Sabrina also arrived with her manager Kenzie.

"Good evening," Sabrina greeted Jessica and Kevin. Kevin who was busy playing with his phone didn't bother to look up and reply, it was only Jessica who greeted her back.

"Hi, you're Sabrina right? I'm Jessica. Let's get along well!" the woman stood up and offered her hand to Sabrina which she held and shook. Jessica smiled at her and said, "Don't mind him, he's always like that. A jerk."

Kevin who heard what she said looked up and said, "Who the hell are you calling a jerk huh?" he blurted.

"Of course you." Jessica answered and rolled her eyes. Kevin who was ready to answer back suddenly shut his mouth upon seeing the woman who stood beside Jessica. The lady was a classic beauty who looks like she came straight out of a painting.

Her fine brown hair was let down and had big curls on its end which made the woman look extremely youthful. Her lips were delicate. She had a pair of long legs and her body was slim.

Kevin suddenly stood up and greeted her, "Kevin Hush, Single," the man offered his hand and Sabrina unwillingly shook it, "Sabrina Pierce, uhmm.. not interested to be in a relationship?" she answered innocently.

Jessica bursted out laughing after hearing the woman's answer. She walked to Kevin and patted his shoulder, "Not that smooth man," she whispered to him then turned to Sabrina.

"I think we should get ready Sab, don't mind this idiot." she grabbed Sabrina and led her to the make up room. They left Kevin complaining inside the backstage.

Jessica and Kevin were close friends because they already worked together in several movies and TV shows where they got to know each other and became close.

After preparations all of the cast were ready at 7 pm. Their make up was done and all they were waiting for was the director and the start of the presscon at 8:30 pm.

"Are you nervous, Sabrina?" Jessica asked.

Sabrina nodded and replied, "A bit, I'm new here after all."

"Don't worry I got you, it's just a simple press conference." Jessica smiled at Sabrina, she smiled back at her.

It was their first time meeting each other but they were already getting along well.

Well this is a good start, Sabrina thought to herself.

After several minutes, the director of the movie finally arrived. His name is Patrick Walker. He was already in his mid 50s. He had gray hair and a mustache. He was a world wide recognized director for all his works were always a box office hit world wide. He was called the "genius director" for his film's cinematography and script were all brilliant and award winning.

He greeted the cast and chatted with them a little.

8:30 pm

It was finally the start of the press conference. The hall was filled with reporters from different broadcasting stations. Many were anticipating this conference because of the fact that this movie is going to have a new face. They were all curious about her.

"Do you think the female lead is good enough for this movie? This is directed by a famous director after all." one reporter said.

"I heard from one of my friends, she climbed Mr. Walker's bed to get this role." another reporter added.

"Really? No wonder! I knew something was fishy because she came out of nowhere!" the reporters continued to share their thoughts with each other.

Then the host finally came out to formally start the presscon.

"Good day to our fellow media friends here. Today's event will be surely filled with excitement as we introduce Director Walker's new film 'Encounter'. Let us all welcome the stage, our director and the cast of the movie!" The crowd gave a round of applause. There were fans of Jessica and Kevin in the crowd who cheered for them as they walked to the stage. Kenzie who was seated in the front cheered for Sabrina.

"Please introduce yourselves." said the host to the cast.

"Hello everyone my name is Sabrina Pierce and I'll be playing the role of the female lead Hanna Davis."

"Hello everyone, I'm Jessica Han and I'm playing the second female lead Brenda Cole."

"Hey everyone I'm Kevin Hush, I'm the leading man. I'll be playing as Jaden Wilson," the crowd immediately went noisy after Kevin spoke. He was after all, their idol.

"We're done with the introductions of the cast, but before we open the room for questions, let us first ask our director about his thoughts." the host said.

Mr. Walker picked his mic up and spoke, "Encounter is a film which I had wanted to do since I received the script. It has a unique storyline which is far from the movies I usually direct, it's not your typical love story and I think the viewers will love it. It is something new and I hope that everyone will be looking forward to it as much as I am." the director smiled and placed down his mic.
