Her Past

Sabrina woke up early the next day. She wanted to be discharged early so she can still go back to their hotel and take a shower. Of course, she didn't want to be smelly during the shoot.

After signing her discharge papers, she changed back into the clothes she wore when she was admitted to the hospital.

"Ready to go?" Alexander asked her.

"Yeah," she answered awkwardly after remembering what happened yesterday. Before she left she left a note for Kenzie so that she won't get worried when she wakes up.

Alexander and Sabrina boarded the car and drove away from the hospital. Inside the car, both of them were quiet, once again the awkward atmosphere surrounded both of them, or it was only Sabrina who felt awkward.

And then Alexander spoke, "I'm bored, you're too quiet," he said. Sabrina faced him and said, "I don't really have much to say,"

"Then tell me about yourself," he said, "Take this as our get to know each other phase. You tell me everything about you, and I'll do the same as well," he added.

"But I don't know where to start," she answered while holding her hands together.

"Then tell me about your past lover, I've been wanting to know about it," he suggested. Alexander was really curious about this man.

Sabrina's mouth went dry instantly, this was a topic she wanted to avoid. It was a story she didn't want to remember. But knowing Alexander's bossy atittude, she had no choice but to just talk.

"Jacob and I met when we were in high school, he was a sophomore and I was a freshman. I was 16 and he was 18. He was pretty popular in school back then. He's handsome, intelligent and ambitious. Any girl would fall for him like I did. There was a school event before and we were both on the same team. That time I already have a crush on him so I kinda did things to get closer to him," she chuckled. She realized now how dumb she was before.

"And then it started, we grew closer and closer until we eventually got together. He was an amazing man. He always did things to make me happy and even supported me when I decided to enter the entertainment industry when I was 17. He accompanied me to my auditions and shoots. He also comforted me when I don't get accepted to the roles I auditioned for. I became madly inlove with him because of his gentleness towards me,"

"He seemed like a good boyfriend," Alexander said with a hint of bitterness in his voice, but he didn't have the right to complain right now.

He was the one who asked for this!

"Hmmm, you can say that," Sabrina said, and then continued her story, "He treated me really well that's why I fell more inlove with him everyday. Then after a few years of being together, of course we got older and mature. We had to start prioritizing things already. He became busy doing company works and I was busy on my career. Although our time were all hectic and stuff, we always made sure to spend time with each other," she said her eyes slowly turning red.

"Then there came a week where I didn't hear anything from him. No text, no calls, no visits from him. I thought that maybe he was just so busy with work that he didn't have time to contact me, so I just let it go. Then it went for another week and I was already growing anxious. It wasn't normal for him not to contact me that long so I visited him in his company. I wanted to surprise him so I went straight to his office," she chuckled again, "Guess what I saw in his office," she said.

"Him with a woman?" he guessed.

She smiled and said, "Bingo!"

"I saw him with a woman, she was sitting on his lap and was kissing him. I didn't know what to do that time so I just walked out from there. And to my luck, on my way out, I met his parents. They invited me to talk and I agreed. We sat inside a coffee shop, both his mom and dad were present. They told me to back off from him because he already had a fiancé which was the lady I saw with him earlier. They even shamed, saying I was only an entertainer and I don't match their son,"

"That day I didn't know what to do. It felt like my world was slowly drifting apart. I thought of ways to get him back, then I came up with the idea of exposing my real identity. I didn't want to lose him. The pain I felt that day was so much that I even got into a car crash," then suddenly Alexander stepped hardly on the breaks and the car made a loud screech sound.

Thankfully Sabrina was wearing her seatbelt, if not she would have been thrown forward.

"What's wrong?" she asked him.

"Nothing I thought I saw a dog," he answered, "Continue your story," he said the started to drive again.

"Yeah, as I was saying, I got into a car accident that day. He visited me in the hospital the next day. When I saw him, I was instantly filled with so much pain. I didn't want to hear what he was going to say that day. I was so scared of him leaving me. I wasn't ready for it yet, but even though I pushed him away he still said the words I didn't want to hear," her face displayed a hint of pain.

"He broke up with me that day. He didn't even think twice before doing it. He told me that if I really loved him, I'd let him go. I was already about to tell him the truth about my identity, it was my last hope. But he said something that totally broke me. He told me to attend his wedding and be happy for him," then she laughed.

"After breaking me apart he expected me to be happy for him? What a joke right?" then suddenly Alexander stopped the car and pulled Sabrina in a hug.

"This will be the last time we'll talk about this, it's making me so jealous. I hate myself for asking about this but I hated the fact more that he was your first," then he pulled out from the hug. He looked at Sabrina in the eye, "From now on I want you to forget him completely, everything that happened between you and him. I don't want to hear you say his name ever again."

Sabrina who was still in a daze didn't know how to respond to him. Her heart and mind was currently in a mess. She just stared back at him trying to read what was going on inside his mind.

Alexander's face moved closer to hers until their lips met. It was just a quick kiss from him. Sabrina's eyes grew wide because of shock.

"I'm sorry I was just really jealous," he said then smiled at her, "We're here," he told her then patted her head.

Sabrina who just snapped out from her thoughts realized that they weren't in the hotel they were staying. She saw a huge mansion standing in front of her. It was a black and white theme mansion. It was full of glass and the parts that weren't glass were painted with black. It looked very modern and classy.

"Where are we?" she asked him.

"My house," he answered then went out of the car and opened the door for her.

Sabrina who was still digesting everything that happened in the car, grew nervous upon hearing him.

She's currently in his house!

She only hoped nothing bad will happen to her.
