250 Interrogating The Maids

"Any clues?" asked Alexis, who had been waiting for Arielle at the door for a long time.

Arielle glanced at her brother briefly then shook her head wearily. Arielle walked wherever her feet took her. Everyone she passed said the same thing. Arielle's steps suddenly stopped in front of her father's door. Arielle turned quickly, not wanting to waste her time asking her father.

Alexis suddenly grabbed both of her shoulders to stop her from leaving.

"You wait here. Let me ask," said the man, who then knocked on his father's door.

Arielle waited nervously. Her legs moved restlessly, and she really, really wanted to meet Sasha right now. She couldn't shake off her worry and guilt. If Sasha hadn't parted with her, this certainly wouldn't have happened. If she did not leave the palace alone, she could go to their meeting together without having to part ways.
