42 Chapter 41: Focus On Me When We're Together

"What are you doing, Kevi?"

Sofia, who had come across the river bank to do her daily routine to freshen was shocked. Earlier, when they had met the day before, she hadn't put it to her heart that Kevi had given up on pursuing her.

She had merely thought, he was there as his brothers were there, and might have got injured for doing something reckless. Afterall, it's normal for the Shans to fight and get injured in their 'free' time.

Since, she was a normal human, she couldn't hear her mates talking with Kevi where Kevi himself admitted that he had chosen Sheea.

But now, seeing the side-profile of the Shan entangled in the river with another female (in beast world, a Shasha beast), she was sure it was Kevi!

An uneasiness spread across her heart, then to her chest as she put her clenched fists on her chest and stared at the couple.

Her eyes only carried the image of the Shan in the river as wetness started to fill them.

She felt like she was being played and then harshly betrayed.

So what was that all about? The way Kevi tried to win her heart, the way he looked at her, the way he smiled at her, the way he wanted to stay beside her.... What were all those?

He (Kevi) made her (Sofia) feel special as he only had his eyes on her (Sofia), whereas other girls (Shashas) had eyes on him.

Was it all a joke all along?

"You-" She was about to say something when she was cut off by a composed yet sarcastic voice.

"Hello there! Did you come here to freshen up?"

Earlier, their intimacy was broken just when Kevi was finally relaxing around her. But it was broken just like that by the female lead. And Sheea found it really offensive.

It was her, the female lead who didn't care about Kevi and Siri from the beginning. And now that she (Sheea) had taken them and want to protect them, what's the meaning of that look now?

And more accurately, Sofia was staring at Kevi from the time she came into view. It was really irritating.

Even though, she (Sheea) admired her (Sofia), the female lead throughout the novel, it was another thing if she (Sofia) stares at her (Sheea's) mate like that as if she wants to ravage him that instant!

After hearing Sheea's voice, only then did Sofia look at the Shasha (since, Sofia doesn't know Sheea is a human, she'll think Sheea is  beast as Sheea is too familiar with the terms in the beast world, unlike Sofia who knew nothing at the beginning) who had caught Kevi's eyes.

But when their eyes met, Sofia was stunned. The previous day, when they had met, she hadn't notice Sheea properly as she (Sheea) was in her disheveled self with tear stains, pluffy eyes and chapped lips with messy hair.

And now, that she was looking at the Shasha in the water, she was beyond shocked. The shasha's dark brown eyes were so captivating, specially her plump red lips. Her hair volume couldn't be ignored even when they had decreased due to water.

Due to the water, Sofia could only see the upper part of Sheea's body that started from her head and ended at the sternum. Yet, that silky smooth appearing skin with attractive collarbones with tiny water droplets, was so alluring and lips licking that she (Sofia) as a woman couldn't help but got attracted.

On the other hand, the Shans were just glaring at each other. Gerry and Eric, who had accompanied Sofia in her bath had always found Kevi to be nothing but an eyesore and now that he was taken, they still found him an eyesore, as through their mated bond they could clearly feel the current emotions Sofia was having because of Kevi.

As for the guy in question of all the four beings at the moment, was non-chalantly lookong at the three intruders as he wrapped his arm around Sheea's waist in a possessive manner. Long gone was that silly expression from his face, it was replaced with aloofness and indifference.

And even though, Gerry and Eric were Sofia's beasts, Kevi still felt uncomfortable as he had never seen Sheea in her short covering (only in her underwears) outside. It was normal for other Shashas to wear like that, but it's ABSOLUTELY ABNORMAL to look at his Sheea in that covering in front of others.

He just felt a sense of crisis in that situation as his arm kept on tightening his hold on her waist.

As for Sheea, she slightly raised one of her eyebrows and gave her infamous crooked smile, when her eyes met with Sofia.

And sure enough, Sofia who was admiring Sheea, blushed furiously as her (Sofia) eyes started to roam around everywhere but  at her (Sheea) direction.

Seeing this, Sheea's smile deepened as her innerself smiled smugly. In the human world, with just her voice and face, she could make countless boys and girls fall on her feet. So, how could she fail to charm this sophisticated female lead?!

Sheea circled her tongue in her inner cheeks as she made a quick decision.

If Sofia really kept on eyeing Kevi like that, Sheea absolutely didn't mind to turn Sofia into a lb with her (Sheea) charms.

Afterall a woman knows another woman the best.

Sheea can easily adjust herself to her heroic state and... hehe!

With that thought, the smile on Sheea's face kept on turning sweeter and sweeter, making Sofia blushed more when she caught Sheea's wide smile from her peripheral vision.

And only then did the Shans who were glarinf at each other felt the real crisis through their mating bonds.

Gerry and Eric looked at each other as they came into a tactic understanding and swiftly took Sofia in their arms and turned to go to other side of the river bank.

And as for Kevi, he thought that Sheea was getting interested in Sofia as no Shasha in their right mind would smile to other beast like that. And specially her emotion that was so bubbly-bubbly and excited after seeing Sofia blush.... he really felt like his mate would fly away from his grip.

And that strange feeling in him increased, when he turned to his side and found Sheea looking at the direction where Sofia and her mates left.

Sure enough, Sheea was interested in Sofia.... And now he was sure of it!

[Author: Sheea is of course interested in Sofia but to her skills, not in other way, Kevi, you fool! Stop getting on my nerves.]

But whatever!

Since that thought crossed his mind, a dangerous glint passed across his eyes, as he domineeringly cupped Sheea's face shocking her and pressed his lips roughly on her just like how she had done before.

After a long deep kiss, Kevi finally let her go as he pressed his forehead on hers and said in a soft yet a no-refusal voice, "Sheea, I want you so much."

He rubbed his forehead on hers, as his thumbs brushed her cheeks and lips and continued, "I want you so much in my life. Not only that, I also want you to be mine and I want you to make me yours. Even though," He took a deep as he said the words as if his life depended on them, "Even though I know I can't make you mine alone, but please focus on me when we're together. Please!"

THUMP!

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

With these words which escaped from Kevi's mouth, Sheea felt like her heart had started a marathon race.

Never in the world had she ever thought that she would receive a love confession from Kevi in such a way. It was both sweet and domineering.

Specially those black orbs which seemed like a pair of endless abysses which only had her in them as she kept on drowning in those abysses.

Subconsciously, she nodded her head as her tears started to appear in her eyes. She kept on nodding her head as she raised her hands and also cupped his face, while saying , "Yes! Yes!"

Sheea didn't know how this happened and why... but she loved it that Kevi's love somehow changed to her from the female lead's.

And she felt so blessed in that.

Now she couldn't even imagine how in the original novel, Kevi had felt when he gave away his life for Sofia. Even at the moment, when he was slowly losing his breaths, this love-stuck beast only thought about Sofia.

And now that, that exclusive love was given to her by the God, and She won't leave any place to lose it. If she can, then she would like to meet the Almightly and devote her life to him.

After all, only now did She... She finally feel that her empty heart was getting filled.

At a far away place, in between the mountains, a pair of eyes suddenly jolt opened, revealing the red orbs that appeared exactly like a glowing fire as a scarcastic smile formed on his lips, "God, huh? I'm not a God, Sheea. Let's see if you can still devote yourself to me, after we meet!"
