40 Chapter 39: Teach A Good Lesson

"What made you think that I'll abandon you?"

When Kevi heard that question from her, he automatically raised his hands and hold the wrist of her hand that was holding him. He looked at her eyes deeply.

For a moment, he was tempted to say to her, "Everything! From the moment we met to the moment until now. Every moment is making me believe that you'll f*cking leave me, Sheea."

But when he found that unhidden concern in her eyes, he stopped. Even though, through the mating bond, he could feel her emotions regarding him, he couldn't bring himself to believe that it wasn't hallucination.

"Then, you tell me. Do you want me?"

Kevi asked suddenly, and hurriedly held her face to maintain their eye contact when Sheea was about to withdraw her eyes.

"Please, answer me. Do you want me, Sheea?"

"Do I want Kevi? Of course I want him! I only wanted him and Siri," Sheea thought in her mind. But, she didn't understand why was she hesitating to answer him back this question.

She wanted him. But also, she didn't want the two brothers to fight all the time.

The previous day, it was clear like the blue sky, that Kevi had intentionally hurt Kyle in his vital points. And with Kyle's sensitivity, it was worse than giving him a quick death.

So, it was really a tricky puzzle for her at the moment. And at last, an idea struck her as her eyes started to spaekle.

Kevi, who was about to give up his hope, after she was quiet for a long while, caught her sudden movement, as he felt her cupping his face with both of her hands.

"Kevi, I-"

Sheea was about to say something, when an alarm started to ring in her head. She suddenly felt like to need to release.... as fast as she could....

Since her tensed body had finally relax, only now she could feel her emergency.

"Wait a moment!"

Sheea said as she jumped up from the bed, scaring the hell out of Kevi's life, as red exclamation and question mark popped on his head.

"Are you a monkey, Sheea?!" Kevi whispered under his breath as he had lost most of his energy in calming his heart.

Afterall, who would suddenly jump when they were having a serious conversation.

Sheea, on the other hand, didn't hear she had become "A Monkey" in her mate's heart. If she had heard him say that, she would have got a negative point and would really abandon him!

Well, what happens will always happen for good! Luckily, she was busy to find that dumping place where Kyle had brought her the previous time when she had just woke up.

She still remembered how shocked she was when Kyle had told her to release inside the cave as outside it would attract unnecessary trouble. And when she was against it, Kyle had almost thrown a tantrum by looking pitiful.

It was good that women... (ahem) Shashas here are treated like Goddesses. So, Kyle at the end, had listened to her.

[Author: Are you sure that you didn't threaten him to stomp on his tail and call his mother to support you? Are you, Sheea?]

At the end, they came to an conclusion that Sheea would do her release after digging a big hole in the ground and cover it with soil.

Just like the previous time, Sheea founded that place which was under a tree with Kyle's scratch on it and started to dig another hole under another tree near with the fallen branches. After digging the desired whole, she started to do what she wanted.

Later, she cleaned herself with the animal skin she had brought and threw it in the pit, before covering it with the soil she had dugged out.

But how in the world she would have known that just after she had finished and turned back after getting dressed properly, she would find Kevi's red face staring right at her from a distance?!

Sheea almost fell like to jump on that pit and bury herself in there.

What was the meaning of this?! How could he....

Then on another thought, he's her male now. So, it's okay. Do you hear her, dear heart? It's okay. So stop beating like a drum in the chest!

It's ABSOLUTELY okay and normal!

With that thought, she 'normally' walked towards her mate and raised her eyebrow with her hands crossed on her chest, "I thought I asked you to wait."

"Umm....," Kevi averted his gaze from his mate and looked everywhere but her.

Earlier when she had left hastily like that, he was a little worried. So he had took in her scent and followed her there, after calming his heart down. But.... he found her on that position. So, it was a bit awkward for him.

And the moment, he wanted to turn his eyes, and go, their eyes met.

Suddenly his eyebrows furrowed, as a realization struck him.

Why is she doing that here? Is Kyle really that clean freak that he would allow their mate to release out of his beloved cave?!

How insolent!

Thinking Kyle's 'rude' behavior, he suddenly undressed himself, startling his already startled mate and handed her his cloth. Then, he shifted into a giant snow white wolf and walked to 'that' place.

"What are you-"

Sheea was still in her daze and her eyes widened when she saw him 'watering' that place and then patting it with his tail.

Right at that instant, Sheea felt her palms were itching as she felt the sudden urge to throw that white wolf into a nearby river.

Just what the hell was that?!

She knows that these beasts would cover her scent, but that doesn't mean they would dirty themselves to cover it.

She... really needs to teach this guys a lesson.... A good lesson. Or they may forget to be her mates!

After making sure, that his smell was left on the ground, Kevi proudly walked towards his mate. But wait!

Why is he suddenly feeling a little cold in this hot weather?!

And it looks like it's coming from a certain direction?!

He threw a careful glance at his mate and sure enough, his mate was looking at him with a creepy smile as his covering was held in a tight grip in her hands.

He subconsciously gulped as his mind started to wonder, What did I do now? What did I do? Why was she angry?

"Keeviii~"

Kevi's mind almost went blank when he heard a voice that came to his way straight from the hell. Moreover, the owner of that voice was none other his mate, THE SHE-GRIMREAPER.

'Father, I suddenly want to attend the leaders' meeting!'
