Chapter 21: How Naive She Was!

(Third Person's POV)

____________________

Jemin who had gone to fetch clean clothes was back with tons of animal skins on his arms. Len had even consideringly brought back three bowls of water. (The coconut shell was used as bowl by him).

Sofia who had got all the things, immediately started to clean the bloody bite marks on Kyle's body. Even though Sheea was busy in caressing his face to calm him down a little from his pain, her eyes followed every movement of Sofia.

She just couldn't rest assure after hearing the probability rate of Kyle's healing from Sofia. So just after, she finished cleaning him, Sheea asked her all the things or medications that were needed for Kyle.

But as a reply, she only got...

"This beast.. he... I really don't know what to say. Actually, I've never come across such situation before. His one part seems to be okay, but another part seems to detoriate," Sofia was hesitating to tell the truth, yet still told it so that the female in front of her could get prepared.

Even if she was the medical genius of her previous world, there are many things that even a genius doesn't know or ever came across with even if he/ she knows.

Just after Sofia finished her sentence, all the others present there, became alerted. They instantly knew what she meant.

Before Sofia's arrival, what haven't they seen? A shan was left alone by his mate to die... or slowly dying after getting injured severely. No one had ever cared about a beast who was dying, even his fellow Shans who were once his companions.

It's just that they were feeling pity towards the only Shasha who had given her heart to a Shan who was dying in front of them now.

Still, it didn't matter much to Gerry and Zad, as they were nothing to that dying beast. And afraid that Sofia who was soft-hearted to get too emotional in the present atmosphere, so they tactfully took her away with them.

They were in the middle of it when they heard a loud scream of an aggrieved Shasha. Fearing that a Shasha was getting abducted by the outcast beasts, they came here. But who would have thought their kind intention would bring them so much of trouble and even sent them flying away from their mate?

"Sheea, leave him, okay? Let's go-" Kevi whose heart was aching by seeing his Shasha in that pitiful situation, wanted to take her away from there.

In his mind, he had even thought that once he took her away from that weak wolf, Kyle, she would calm down immediately. Afterall, it's all because of that mark on her shoulder, that she was behaving like that.

When he was kissing her, and Jemin also joined him, he had saw a glimpse of a light mark on her shoulder. He was sure that it was made by that b*stard wolf!

So, he really didn't care if Kyle dies or not. Kevi just simply didn't like him. It was okay if Kyle took everything else from him, but he won't cooperate if Kyle took his love as well.

Sheea was his! And can only be his!

With that thought, he was about to take her away from that b*stard wolf, when he was interrupted by a hand on his shoulder. He turned to look at Jemin who shook his head in a warning and deniel.

"Don't say anything to her now. She won't like it, if you say something against Kyle at the moment," Jemin said in a grave tone.

Jemin was someone who appeared jolly all the time. And because he had interacted with countless of beasts outside of the tribe, while going to trade, he had a better grip of the situation than others. He perfectly knows what to say, when and how. And when to keep silent.

"Brother, it will be best if we could leave them alone. Shasha needs some time to adjust herself," Len also chided in.

Just like Jemin, Len was came in to control the situation. Having the blood of a lion and the mind of a fox, he was also a good observer of the situation and knows how to deal with it without a fight.

"But, Sheea-" Kevi was highly opposite to the suggestions of his brothers. He felt like they were just trying to separate him and his mate so that they could have a better chance.

"No but, Kevi. You're going with us," Len said sternly. He didn't want to see the situation of his mate to worsen. Not by his favourite brother at least, who was behaving out of his regular self.

"If all of us go away, then, who will stay here? Won't anyone keep her company? She may be in danger if she stays here alone," asked Kevi who was presently getting dragged by his brothers.

He had thought his brothers wanted to drive him away and they themselves would keep Sheea company. Who would have thought both of them would be leaving together with him?

"Don't worry. It'll be fine if others don't get in danger if they gets near her," Jemin coolly replied, "And we also shouldn't get in danger."

Kevi was muddle-headed at the moment, but that doesn't mean Jemin and Len were too. They could still sense the intimidating aura coming from her. And worst was, their legs were still shaking when they remembered how she gave Kevi and those two Shans a free flying tour without wings.

So, even they wanted to stay here, it was best to leave and live a long life. That way, they can spend their lives in peace and harmony with their mate, when she calms down a little.

And just after they left, they failed to notice the sharp glint that replaced the tears on Sheea's eyes. Sheea who was crying her heart's out a moment earlier, raised her hand and wiped the tears away as she scoffed.

Sheea had been training martial arts since she was young. So, it wasn't difficult for her to master the flows of energy in anyone's body. In her offtime, she would meditate to calm herself or practice the Chinese skills of Qi management.

She had been sending a small portion of her spiritual energy into Kyle's body with each of her caresses. So the parts of his body where she sent the energy was functioning well. And since there was no one else, she immediately placed Kyle's head securely in her arms, as she placed her left hand on his chest.

She had thought that since the book had mentioned that Sofia could heal everything, she had placed all her hopes on her.

Heh! How naive she was!

As if it wasn't enough for her life to teach her how to be self-dependent, it again gave her a lesson to know how to be one.

She remembered once, she had came across a Green Wicca-cum-Witch in one of her vacations in her previous world, who uses the power of plants to heal herself or others. So, she knew how to have infinite flow of positive energy around her. If there's plant, there will be infinite positive energy. And as for repaying the plants, she will obviously repay them with everything she has or will have, after healing Kyle.

Since they were in the middle of the forest, it wasn't difficult for her to draw green powers into her body and then sent it to Kyle. It was a little bit exhausting for her body, but at the moment she didn't mind it at all.

Soon after sometime, all the wounds on Kyle's body, started to heal. She could feel his pain was gradually lessening too.

"Kyle, you need to get better! Don't forget that you're mine, Kyle. And I'm waiting for you to wake up," Sheea said as she caressed his face softly before her eyes started to become blurry and soon it darkened.

With a thump, her body fell on the ground as Kyle's body securely rested on her. Even during her unconscious state of mind, she was securely circling his body in hers.

Sheea had thought that no one was around her at all, so she had used her Wiccan powers freely in between the deserted forest. But she had miscalculated in her desperation to save Kyle.

Every little bit of her actions and her last words before fainting were seen and heard by the owner of the green eyes who was hiding behind the bushes of small plants.

And just as she fainted, those eyes narrowed a little, perfectly revealing the ferociousness in them.
