~Three days later~

After telling my dad I needed to talk to him, he didn’t show up at the house, and I didn’t bother to call him either. I was so mad at him and this made me mad at everyone else. Dave left for Santa Monica yesterday because his holiday was coming to an end and he needed to get back to school. We couldn’t go on the trips he dreamed of going on because I wasn’t myself. I kept myself isolated in my room.

I was yet to talk to Cary after our fight. I was giving him the time and space he wanted, even though he kept disturbing my phone with his calls and texts.

Out of boredom and need for someone to talk to, I picked up my phone and put a call across to Donald, telling him to pay me a visit if he was chanced. He agreed to pay me a visit, and after about twenty minutes, I heard a knock on my door.

“Donald?” I called, standing up and walking to the door.

“Yeah! It’s me,” he answered before I could open the door, making me chuckle.
