Chapter Six

"How come you're here?" I asked, curiously.

"Got some appointments. It will take two to three months I guess." I nodded. I don't know what to ask anymore!

"So, you how are you?" Biting my lower lip, before looking at him.

"I work, at my grandmother's company. You really get into civil?" He told me once, he wanted to be a civil engineer. I don't know if he proceeded, because the last time I saw him was like twelve grade before reaching College.

"Yup, not to brag but, head engineer." He laugh and saluted. I guess, he didn't change at all. He does, physically but his personality didn't.

"Cool! You're going home after?" Oh my gosh Jen! Are you a boy? I wanted to slap my forehead right at this very moment but I refuse to because he might think I'm being crazy.

"Of course. I don't have someone to be with though." Okay, that was again the awkward in silence. But I saw him smile, a genuine one.

I was about to talk when I felt my phone buzzed.

"Excuse me." I told him and went outside the coffee shop.

"Yes Tiff?" I asked right after I answered her call

"Where are you? Did you forget about Cole's?" That made me think, she didn't tell me what time! So tried to take some time, I'm planning to be their at seven, where we usually met.

"My gosh Tiffany, you didn't even told me the details."

"Oh, I didn't?" This girl, really.

"Come quick, should I fetch you? Are you still at the office?"

"No, I'm nearby. Just wait for me there." I ended the call and went back to the coffee shop.

"Here's your coffee." Clyde gave me the coffee cup, I decided not to sit because I should be off now.

"Well, thank you. But I think I'll get going now." He stood up. He's still taller than me. Did I even get an inch? Ah, never mind.

"Let's go together."

"Yeah, sure." We both went to the arking area, I was the one first to go off because my car was just near.
