1 One: GPLAy Inc. & GUNN

An office, at GPLAy Inc, a game development company dealing with multiplayer offline and online games. Has significance in terms of player retention and likes. They have a 5 out of 5 ratings.

Workers and partners of GPLAy think Gunn is eccentric. He is its Head and founder. At times they do throw in some specifics, for his character around female employees, solely felt within company walls. He is gossiped about to be the life of the party, and GPLAy for his allure.

The girls can't get enough of him- all of them. Starts with the way they look at him and conduct around his proximity- begging to be seen. He barely recognizes them. It is said he admires gorgeous brains - although never bound with his employee romantically ever.

This early morning he was looking at last twilight's progress - he scarcely slept. Consumed the whole night creating a new game which, he rarely does. Old addictions from when he started up. Loves to get his hands dirty at times not to overlook where he came from and the fervor that drove him to the undertaking.

Gunn has his eyes fixed on the enormous monitor. He stole glances at the open laptop by the side. He cracks his knuckles and then commences to type hastily.

Someone silently knocks on his office, merely audible. The door opens but he still has full attention on the monitor.

An officially dressed girl - twenty or so years old- steps in. She shuts the door behind her and then without invitation sits on the couch adjacent to him. Looks like it was meant for his visitors.

He still has his face on the large monitor as she makes herself comfortable. Appears she had been there before that. She gazes at him with affection for a while fixing her blouse and buttoning the very first button. To most, it's sheepish without a tie but it finishes off her look. She then puffs notifying him of her existence.

" Good morning", she shatters the serenity. He glows revealing peal-like teeth then stops typing.

"Hey, did I keep you waiting?", he asked. Might have seen her enter.

"No!", She lies string out the window. Or maybe was telling the truth, might have liked eyeing him getting committed.

He peeked at her white blouse way up to the slim lovely neck, thus locking eyes She looks away shyly leaving him to examine her flawless raw face. Gasps.

"New?", he enunciates. She surveys her blouse as if not confident of it then flinches before proceeding.

" It's not, just ironed", she tells, averting his burning sure gaze.

He rocked his chair sideways nodding, his face had a vast rugged grimace.

" It is said the ultimate button was meant to be left out, I don't comprehend why. I fear if you do ?", Asks out of context. When they call him excessively flirtatious there is validity to that. Which he executes on her so faultlessly.

" No idea, mine's buttoned", she assessed touching the button.

"Why?", he interrogated. She is conscious of his schemes and tricks. Although colleagues for years he never fails to make an impact on her body when flirting. She is never used to it.

" It felt like the right thing to do", bravely tries to sabotage him. They are more than Boss and his assistant, they are friends at the right time - always have been.

"Maybe. Trouble breathing?", He fights back. Jen is tough with others but in games, with him, she tends to lose, but that doesn't break her will to fight - hates to be defeated.

"I'm fine. There is an important issue that brought me here, tests for the new game", she drives it to formal bits which he ignores.

"We can always talk business, this is important as well. I have to say, it looks gorgeous on you", he comments biting his lower lip sensually. A sharp feeling crosses her stomach but recovers instantly.

He was performing it on purpose, that was evident. Likes to make it all about beauty but equally as serious. When he wants to talk business he gets to the character- only never with her.

" Thanks. The game is not opening on Android 5 and below, is very slow on Android 6, on 7, and the rest versions have no bugs. Runs smooth", she described.

"Smooth, haha", he said making a new face. As if what she said was dirty. She brushed it off. Hard to fake was what she was feeling in those remarks.

" You're devious, what should the teams do on that?" she, said smiling. Reducing her agenda to his- officially he was hard to penetrate.

" Why are you the one addressing the issue? Where is Raj?" Gunn inquired. She has to repeat it back even when he knows exactly what she is talking about. He kinda admires her pissed-off face.

"His colleague explained he didn't show up today, something to do with his eyes"

" Did he ask for the day off?", He questioned in authority.

"To you.

No idea, do you?", she mumbled. He shakes his head and hardly recalls that happening.

" Can't recollect.

The job is done, there's time, just have him see me when he gets back. (says looking at his laptop then back into her eyes, glimpse at her lips then the blouse)

Are you going to unbutton that?", He asked.

Jen had finished her potion. Adding a second there would mean she wanted the flirts to happen, which she had hated all her life. Not great into humor- only his tends to work.

" I'll think about it. You do have an appointment with Kat-the new employee we approved yesterday. She's waiting outside, should I let her in?", She asked. Had to stress it, Gunn would question it anyway.

Jen was executing an escape strategy.

"We were hiring?", Acted shocked. Jen brushed past that.

"She's from marketing, you'll see her in a bit", she concluded excusing herself.

" Let her in", his voice followed her out.

"I must have kept you, go in now"

"No, you didn't. Thanks again for fixing my crappy appointment", Kat said to Jen.

As Jen sat on her desk trying to get her morning in order, she was disturbed by the reason for Kat's appointment- not like she cared. It would be yet another long day for her at GPLAy.

Gunn was back to what Jen interrupted. He saw Kat come in. She was nervous as expected and a bit confused.

His eyes lit to the different face - the same age as Jen but less officially dressed. He kept it to himself. He gestured for her to sit down as he closed his laptop to give her his full attention.

He had to gauge her. She stood out from the girls he had seen by far. From her curious large eyes, messy eyebrows, and blue dress to her dark thick hair. She wasn't afraid to face him like other girls he had encountered. Pretty confident than Jen.

"Welcome to GPLAy. How are you liking it so far?", He asked waiting to hear her voice. He hardly flirts with new employees until he's sure they like him- which they all do. Hates to make them uncomfortable.

"My first day is adventurous, hope to see more.

Thanks for accepting me to your firm, I didn't get a chance to say how grateful I am.

(She says hastily and nervously. Her lower alto-tone voice with a hint of texture, grit, and fry is his new favorite although he keeps his cool)

I have concerns about the existing sales and marketing policies, they lack flexibility ", she dives right to business.

He would have quoted flexibility for obvious reasons but her courage was inspiring. Toying with her would kill morale, a thing he hated. She was the first to see him on the first day of work. He hardly has complaints from female staff, they sort it out by themselves or let it be. Many don't have something worth his ears at all.

She was bringing with her unique energy. He was not that impressed though, as his company was breaking boundaries in the market, and the sales were fine.

" What's wrong with the current model?", He interrogated.

" The world is changing by the day, as you well know, only the smartest have a chance to get to higher levels and do exemplary.

I am concerned about the players, I think you are not doing enough for them in terms of what they get for playing your games.

You need to make it worth their while .", she spoke.

"Go on", he had to ask. She was surely pointing in the right direction.

"With web3 and NFT, I think we owe our players the right to the characters and purchases they make in-app. Like, making it tradable with crypto for them to profit and remain devoted.

Lazy ones can always spend on upgrades. It's a win-win situation for the firm", she concluded.

She was shooting blanks. But, if he was to let her grow he had to make sure she wasn't discouraged on her first day. That was pretty basic.

" We do sell upgrades to the lazy players but we sure can improve on some aspects.

You have caught my attention, will you be willing to run that program with us for the trial game? When of course it has relevance and basics"

"Of course, I would love to", Kat was excited, her smile was all over the office. Sparkling those beautiful eyes.

" Make a decent presentation, perhaps this month. I can concoct a meeting with my creative team. It better be convincing", he concluded.

"Thank you very much sir", she was through. He let her go buy then asked.

" Again, I didn't catch your name"

"Sorry, I don't remember sharing, how rude of me. I'm Kat", she remarked staring back at him. She bends in respect and then makes her way out.

"Nice to meet you Cat, you might have a bright future here. Can you please get Jen to see me on your way out?", he would be laughing at her name later. She agreed.

"Of course", Kat disappeared as the door closed. Gunn was left to his craft.

He was impressed by the suggestion and more so by her fresh vigor. She might be what his firm was lacking, she had more than potential if directed to the right path. He thought of trying her suggestion on the minigame he was developing.

Web3 is not that old to understand but he would be one of the first firms to adopt it. That's the same thing he had in mind when developing the game- she was tapping into his mind. They thought the same.

He was left with the thought of how much more she would be of benefit to the firm. The success of anything brings the initiator some benefits as well, in this case, it would be her.

Simply, she was his newfound muse. He was attracted to her- her different point of view and confidence. Only time would tell, but in any case, he rooted for her. Because it was the same as rooting for his firm - they were intertwined.
