" My king! Shouldn't you..be there.. today.."

Ralph's loyal subordinate, Benjamin spoke after giving it a long thought. Ever since Jasmine had left his life for eternity, Ralph had been too cold for this world. Not only that, he had been drinking all day long.

Even though he didn't look into the castle or Jasmine's life, Ralph understood what Benjamin was trying to say. Today was supposed to be her baby shower. As the father, he should have been there by her side but now, the place was taken by that Oscar.

Ralph let out a chuckle sadly, raised himself from the ground with a growl. He replied, dragging his feet to the table to pour another round of liquor again,

" She..she doesn't need me there.. She only cares for me...but she loves..Oscar... Benjamin..I am just a heartless demon. Why should she love me?"
