The next morning, as Feng Li made his way to school on foot, he spotted the male lead and the protagonist walking together. Upon catching sight of Feng Li, the protagonist immediately dashed toward him.

"Hey! We meet again," the protagonist exclaimed with excitement.

However, Feng Li's head began to throb, and he frowned slightly, choosing to walk on without offering a single response. He couldn't quite pinpoint why, but his instincts told him that this person was truly vexing.

The male lead seethed with anger upon witnessing Feng Li's unresponsive behavior. He shouted furiously, "Hey, can't you see that Xiao Jin is trying to talk to you!?"

Feng Li continued to ignore them and proceeded to enter the school grounds through the gate. Finding his way to the classroom, he took his seat. However, before long, someone approached him and kicked his desk—none other than the male lead himself.

Feng Li swiftly stood up, catching hold of Jiang You's collar, throwing him to the ground, and unleashing a series of merciless punches and kicks to his abdomen.

Just as the fight escalated, the homeroom teacher burst into the classroom, witnessing the altercation and promptly putting an end to it. Both Feng Li and Jiang You were promptly escorted to the office, where the teacher scolded them sternly. Eventually, the teacher instructed someone to accompany Jiang You to the infirmary. Just as the teacher was about to address Feng Li, a knock on the door interrupted their conversation.

"May I come in, Mr. Lin?" Yu Xin's voice sounded from behind the door.

"Yes, Yu Xin," Mr. Lin replied.

"Sir, here are the homework assignments you asked me to collect," Yu Xin informed.

"Thank you, please place them on the side," Mr. Lin instructed.

With that, Yu Xin exited the office. As Feng Li emerged from the office, he spotted Yu Xin waiting outside.

Upon catching sight of Feng Li, Yu Xin's hands grew sweaty, and his voice quivered slightly. He mustered up the courage to ask, "Um... Excuse me, could you meet me in the garden during lunch break?"

Feng Li raised an eyebrow, acknowledging the countless coincidental encounters he had experienced with this person. His heart would flutter ever so slightly each time he laid eyes on him, as if they had crossed paths somewhere before, although he couldn't recall where.

Blushing at Feng Li's gaze, Yu Xin clasped his hands together, anxiously awaiting a response.

Feng Li hummed, agreeing, "I will be there."

He had no intention of declining the invitation; he couldn't resist the hope-filled brightness in Yu Xin's eyes.

During the break, Feng Li made his way to the garden. Spotting Yu Xin standing beneath a tree, waiting for him, he approached him.

As Yu Xin saw Feng Li, a smile brightened his face, and he waved his hand in greeting. Excitedly, he ran toward Feng Li, tilting his head up to meet his gaze. One pair of eyes sparkled like millions of stars, while the other pair resembled a lush forest.

Yu Xin wanted to ask something, but then he realized that he didn't even know the alpha's name. Blushing, he inquired, "Can I ask your name?"

Observing the adorable expression on the blushing omega's face, Feng Li's lips curved slightly as he replied gently, "Feng Li, what's on your mind?"

Yu Xin widened his eyes as if he had recognized Feng Li from somewhere before.

Curious about the cause of Yu Xin's reaction, Feng Li gazed into his eyes, searching for an explanation.

Yu Xin nodded, his face still flushed. He couldn't fathom why he felt so bashful today; perhaps it was due to the attractive person standing before him. Licking his lips nervously, he finally mustered the courage to ask, "Um, Feng Li, would you have lunch with me on Sunday at 1:00 pm? I want to express my gratitude for saving me that day."

Feng Li raised an eyebrow in response. "Where?" he inquired.

Without hesitation, Yu Xin replied, "At the restaurant next to our school."

Feng Li agreed, saying, "Okay."

In a matter of seconds, the bell rang, catching Yu Xin off guard. He suddenly remembered that he had a math class immediately after the break. Hastily, he bid farewell, "Well, I should be going now. I have a class. Bye!"

As he watched Yu Xin hurry away, Feng Li reminisced about the day they collided. A soft laugh escaped his lips as he turned to make his way to his own class, thinking, 'I suppose this world won't be devoid of excitement.'

On Sunday, Feng Li arrived at the restaurant. Glancing at his watch, he noted that it was already 1 pm. Entering the establishment, he was promptly greeted by a Beta waiter, who escorted him to a private room. As Feng Li stepped inside, he saw Yu Xin sitting there, looking nervous, as if heading into battle. Feng Li found the expression on Yu Xin's face quite intriguing—it was almost as if they were on a blind date.

Surprised by his own thoughts, Feng Li couldn't help but feel astonished. In the real world, he had never dated anyone, considering it a waste of time, always maintaining a clean private life. Yet, after encountering this adorable bunny-like individual, he found himself unwilling to let go, perhaps due to his past experiences.

Upon noticing Feng Li's arrival, Yu Xin stood up and gestured for him to take a seat. After placing their orders, the atmosphere grew tense as Yu Xin expressed his gratitude.

"Thank you so much for saving me that day," Yu Xin's eyes began to well up with tears as he spoke.

"Don't cry, even though you look cute when you do. I'm not a sadist," Feng Li teased, causing Yu Xin to blush. The sweet scent of pheromones permeated the air, creating an ambiguous atmosphere.

Their moment was interrupted as a Beta waiter arrived to serve the food, dispelling the ambiguous atmosphere that had momentarily enveloped them.

After enjoying their meal, Feng Li broke the silence, asking, "Why were you alone that night?"

Yu Xin's tears began to flow freely, unable to contain his emotions any longer. He explained, "I was with one of my friends, but he said he needed to use the restroom, so I was left all alone. Suddenly, those people approached, wanting to steal my belongings and do terrible things to me. But then, you appeared and saved me."

Yu Xin's voice quivered with a mixture of gratitude and vulnerability. His tears continued to fall as he recounted the moment, feeling abandoned by his friend and facing an impending crisis. He couldn't help but wonder what might have happened if Feng Li hadn't heard his cries and come to his rescue.

As they bid each other farewell (though reluctant to do so), Feng Li returned to his apartment. Sitting on the sofa, he started up his laptop and proceeded to invest in stocks with high dividends. Engaging in a conversation with the system, he inquired, "Hey System, what abilities do you possess?"

The system responded, 'What would you like me to do?'

Feng Li instructed, "Keep an eye on those two fools—the protagonist and the male lead."

The system assured him, 'I have already been monitoring them, and I should mention that the protagonist deceived his friend, leading to a perilous situation that you ultimately saved him from.'

"So, you're saying that Yu Xin is Song Jin's friend?" Feng Li sought confirmation.

'Yes,' the system confirmed.

"In that case, remind me whenever they both attempt to harm my bunny," Feng Li requested.

'Yes, Master,' the system acknowledged.

With his thoughts consumed by the adorable little bunny who had managed to make his heart flutter for the first time, Feng Li retired to bed, falling asleep with a smile on his face.
