Chapter 10: That Dream

A little boy running in the midst of other children in a chaotic scene, The boy was trying to escape the chaos when he noticed a little girl who had fallen down and was struggling to get up.

Without hesitation, the little boy rushed over to help the girl. As he picked her up and dusted her off, he noticed the fear in her eyes. The little boy took the girl's hand and together they started running through the crowd of children.

Following the crowd as they ran towards a small clearing. They both looked around and saw that they were surrounded by trees, which had formed a natural barrier against the noise and chaos.

The little girl looked up at the boy, tears still streaming down her face. "Thank you," she said, her voice shaking.

The boy simply smiled and replied, "Don't worry, I'm here to protect you."

The two children sat down together in the clearing, talking and laughing as if they had known each other for years. As he looked on, he realized that this simple act of kindness had brought them together and created a bond that would last a lifetime.

"What's your name?" The little boy asked?

"My name? My name is...."

As Kai opens his eyes, waking up from his dream, he felt a sense of warmth and hope.

" This dream again" he voiced out while wiping his face with his hands.

*Walking out of his bedroom, rubbing his sleepy eyes as he made his way to the dining room. He had just woken up from a dream that left him feeling unsettled. He needed to talk to someone about it.

As he entered the dining room, he was surprised to see Jax standing by the door. Jax was his personal guard, but he was never around often. "Good morning, Jax," Kai greeted him.

"Good morning, Young Master," Jax replied, bowing 90% degrees. "Your parents have gone out earlier, they won't be back until late tonight."

Kai nodded absentmindedly, his mind still on his dream. "Jax, do you believe in signs?" he asked suddenly.

Jax raised an eyebrow. "Signs?"

"Yes, signs," Kai repeated. "I had a dream last night, and I think it's a sign. I saw that girl A little girl with dark skin and chubby cheeks. She had clear emerald eyes. I've seen her before, in my dreams. But this time, it felt different. I feel like I need to find her."

Jax looked at him skeptically. "Young Master, with all due respect, finding a girl from a dream based on that description won't be easy."

"I know," Kai said, his voice firm. "But I have to try. Can you help me, Jax? Gather all the information you can about her. I need to see her again."

Jax sighed, knowing he couldn't argue with Kai when he was like this. "I'll do my best, Young Master. But I can't promise anything."

Kai smiled gratefully. "Thank you, Jax. I know you'll do your best."

With that, he left the dining room, his mind already on the day ahead.

Asa's heart was pounding as she ran down the street, hoping against hope that the bus would wait for her. But as she reached the bus station, she saw the bus pulling away, leaving her stranded once again. She let out a groan of frustration and looked around, wondering what to do next.

That's when she noticed a sleek black car pulling up beside her, its windows tinted. As the car slowed down, the window rolled down and a handsome guy stuck his head out. He had a strong jawline, piercing blue eyes, and a messy mop of blonde hair that made him look like he'd just stepped out of a shampoo commercial.

"Hey, need a ride?" he asked, flashing her a charming smile.

Asa was taken aback, not sure what to make of the offer. She had never seen the guy before, but he seemed to know her.

"I don't even know you," she said, trying to sound as firm as possible.

The guy chuckled. "That's true. But we're schoolmates, aren't we? And I don't want you getting into trouble with the principal for being late again."

Asa hesitated for a moment, weighing her options. She didn't want to be late for school again, but she didn't feel comfortable getting into a stranger's car either.

The guy seemed to sense her apprehension and quickly reassured her. "I won't bite, I promise. Just hop in, and I'll get you to school on time."

With a deep breath, Asa decided to take the risk and got into the car. Later half way through the journey, Asa found herself relaxing in his company, enjoying the warmth of his smile and the easy way he talked.

When they reached school, He pulled up outside the school gates, and Asa got out, feeling grateful for the ride. As she walked away, she could feel the eyes of her classmates and school mates on her, whispering and gossiping about her new friend. But she didn't care. How could she care when she was used to being the center of attraction for even the slightest thing.
