3 Three.

Jake's POV

"You do realize you are being too grumpy right? You need to get laid man." Hendery sat opposite of me looking frustrated. I do not understand why he is so invested.

"My not getting laid has nothing to do with this, these portfolios are a piece of shit! Do they really expect me to pick any of them?" I asked as I dropped the one I just finished looking through.

Having fired the interior decorator who previously worked with me, I am left going through different portfolios in the hope of finding a new interior decorator to work with. But I have been wondering how these portfolios had passed the initial screening and gotten to my desk.

"Maybe you should check Smith's niece's portfolio. He had spoken highly of her." Hendery suggested as he helped search for hers.

"Here you go." Standing from his seat, he came to stand next to me. We both looked at the portfolio and I must say, compared to what I had been seeing, this one does seem to be good at what she does.

"Well I think we got our interior decorator." Hendery says as he goes back to his seat smiling.

"Maybe." Since we were able to find something worth looking at, I decided to check the others. Maybe something even better might show up. 'Except the other portfolios were carefully selected to make hers stand out.' Smith had always talked about his niece every chance he got, and when I finally needed an interior decorator, he had suggested I hire her.

Placing his niece's portfolio aside, I started looking through the others. 'If nothing better comes up, then maybe I will let her try.'

"... And I wasn't asking you to get laid just because of how angry you are at portfolios, you look and act like a sad old man these past months man, you are always grumbling and may I add, sad." He paused, "Get laid, and get your frustration out by cumming. You need it man! You need to do that for yourself and above all, you need to do that so you can start letting her go." His final statement had me pausing as I swallowed.

"Let her go? Are you suggesting I forget she ever existed?" What are they all thinking? Mom, dad, and now Hendery seem to think the same thing. How do I forget her?

"Keeping her in your memories is a different thing man, she would never want to see you this way, this grumpy and pathetic. You know that. She has always loved it whenever you smiled, when you looked happy." I glared at him wanting him to stop, all I wanted to do was bury myself in work, I just wanted to stop thinking about her, but here he was, doing the exact thing I didn't want.

"She already fought enough while still here man, it is time you let her go so she can rest. Or maybe get reincarnated into the world as your daughter." I threw the box of tissue on my desk at him.

"What the fuck man! How can a lady I have been with so intimately be reborn as my daughter?! Get your perverted self out of my office." Fucking pervert. I thought as I glared at him even more.

"Okay maybe that wouldn't be right but you do get my point don't you? We all loved her man, I especially loved her for you, but we have to live on, you can't put your life and that of your d*ck on hold just because she is no more. Think about that. I need to go before you send something else flying my way and ruining my chance of scoring tonight." He stood up as he made his way out of my office.

"Vivian should really leave your ass." I murmured but loud enough for him to hear.

"She loves me too much to do that and besides, her big tummy has kept her lazy to move around." He chuckled leaving the room.

In the quiet space of my office, I pulled open a drawer as I brought out a picture. The picture had been taken during her graduation, we both had the biggest smiles on our faces as we looked toward the camera.

My beautiful Stella.

Swallowing back the tears that threatened to escape, I returned the picture to the drawer as I continued going through the portfolios.

One portfolio grabbed my attention, it was obvious the decorator is yet to handle any big project but I loved the uniqueness of the design.

"We can start with them renovating the house." I told myself as I looked at more of their designs. Dad and mom would be returning back home soon, and I was tasked with the redecoration of the house.

If this decorator can handle the work, then I would consider letting them decorate the new hotel. With that decision, I informed my secretary to get in touch with them and set up a meeting. 'I will be owing Smith an apology.'
