My Room-mate

I knocked the door but there wasn't any response from the other side. I was already exhausted with bags on my back and two luggage on both of my hands. Now, I kept both the luggage on the corridor and again knocked the door for the second time. Still no response though the door was partially opened.

I felt like pushing hard but I am not that rude to open other's door without their valid permission. So, for the last time to decide, I was able to knock hard when I heard a drowsy voice from inside.

"Come in...it's already open!"

I pushed the door and went inside and kept my things on the floor. I started to examine the room. It was a medium sized room with two beds, tables, wardrobes, a stinky toilet with a broken mirror and one towel hanging on the string. The basin looked awful which was not cleaned for about a month or two, I guess.

"Feeling nostalgic? Common , that's your bed. Settle yourself there!" A man on the bed told me and again he went for sleeping.

I arranged my stuffs; I kept my parents photo on the top of my bed, books on the table and clothes inside the wardrobe. His arrangements were horrible! Some books on the floor, some on the bed and his clothes and stinky socks lying sadly on the bed and the floor.

"Hello! My name is Kinga from Thimphu. " He got up from his bed and introduced himself to me. "I am your room-mate."

"Oh hello! I am Dawa from Sarpang and nice to meet you." I introduced myself.

"Yeah! Same goes to you." He said and continued, "By the way, how are you feeling?"

"Yeah! I am fine." I replied and smiled.

"Are you alone or do you have your friends?" He enquired, settling himself on his bed. "You too sit!"

"I have my three friends but they are in different room." I replied.

"Oh really? That's good." He said and started arranging his stuffs. "Don't mind! I am very bad in organising...haha."

"No problem. Men are like that only." I responded him, opening my recently bought novel "Forgetting the Unforgettable"

Someone knocked the door and I went to address. There were two boys who were strange for me.
