Tale had been avoiding his face since the moment they met but now she could see clearly under her mini chandelier. His face was well sculpted and all clear with a jawline to die for and It embodied the very essence of masculine beauty, he had a perfect forehead and his eyebrows were perfectly winged that they made her fingertips throb and made her a little jealous. The only place that held a little softness were his eyes, there were as dark as night but beautiful. His hair was midnight black and fell to one side of his face covering a scar she couldn't see yet. Such a face did not belong to a man who was sweet but of one who commanded, demanded and took action. His lips were so fine and firm, it sent a seductive shiver down her spine. Men like this-- who looked like he did led women to sin... And into loosing their peace of mind. "You know it's rude to stare?" he said when he felt he had allowed her have her fill. showing up...

They had told her their story, what was she going to do???

"Why don't you drop your contact details with that man over there," she pointed to Woo Jin who she knew wouldn't like the idea of strangers walking up to him but she smiled at the reaction he was going to give when they did. "Tell him I sent you and it is very important. OK."

"We will." one of the guys spoke up. "Thank you ma."

"Ma? Na I'm Tale. Just call me that."

"Tale." Another one spoke.

"Yes. It was nice meeting you guys." she stood to get going when one of the boys took her bag to help her carry it.

"No please, no. That is unnecessary," She pleaded.

"Ah, no oh. Just keep walking ma, I will carry it."

Tale shrugged as she finally turned to Su Yan who folded his arms to watch the scene in front of him.

"You do realize you came and stole all of my thunder." Su Yan complained.

"Oh please, you don't have a thunder, if anything you are more like a drop of rain. Let's go."

"A drop of rain? Really woman, really."

Tale laughed before linking her hands with his as they headed towards his car.

She took her bag from the boys who helped her with it before waving them goodbye happily.

"I was thinking, instead of having the restaurant bring our food home we could just make a lunch date out of it and go there instead. If you are down of course."

"What else would I be?"

"A paranoid boyfriend."

"Others call it caring."

"Speaking on behalf of all women, we don't."

"You win this round."

"I win all rounds. All aboard the winning train! Woohoo!!!"

"You are definitely in a good mood today," Su Yan drove off the site into the busy roads. "Considering how you started the day, I'm quite surprised."

"Yeah that fall really woke me up. And this, this is me, you think I'm a bit much?"

"Honestly all sides of you intrigue me, I never know what to expect."

"In other words, you are dating a girl with multiple personality."

"In other words, a normal girl with an extra ordinary personality."

"Wait what, now I'm confused."

Su Yan laughed at her as turned a corner into the express road towards Orange.

...

It was five long hours later before Precious got home. She carefully locked the door behind her and set her bag down as she sat quietly on the floor staring into blank space, seeing nothing, feeling nothing.

When did life get to this, she had made random stops at random places, walked into streets and two other estates, feeling like someone was watching her. Hopefully she was wrong.

Two hours later a loud knock sounded on the door.

Staring at the door and thinking of whether to open it or not, the knock came again.

"Precious." Woo Jin called out.

She had completely forgotten about tonight. "Woo Jin. Do come in." she held the door open for him to enter and locked it immediately he did.

"What's wrong? You forgot didn't you."

"I did, can't lie about it. Please sit, I'd be right back." She hurried into the room to change.

She threw on a shirt and jean and was out in five minutes... The faster she got out of here, the better for her mind.

"I'm ready. Let's go." Precious came out with a jacket lazily hung on her shoulder and her purse in one hand.

"I don't think we should do this." Woo Jin stated clearly.

"Oh, Okay, I'm sorry I wasted your time. Thank you for at least showing up." Precious was half surprised but she had no energy to feel even worse than she did.

She turned back to the room when Woo Jin held her by the shoulders and turned her around.

"Do it."

"Do what?"

"I can see through you, do it." Woo Jin sounded sure as a worried frown appeared on his face.

Precious bit her lower lip as she tried to hold back tears, taking a deep breath she finally let go.

Silently she sobbed as Woo Jin held her in a loose embrace.

When her sobbing had run its course, he held her face in his hands "You will be OK."

"No I'm not," she said stubbornly "Something terrible may happen to me, or even worse to Tale and I don't know what I'd do if, if..."

"Look at me." he put a hand under her chin to make eye contact. "Nothing will harm you both, I promise." He wiped a lone tear away from her face before guiding her to sit down while he sat close enough for comfort.

"You want water?" Woo Jin asked a bit more calm himself.

"How did you know I wasn't okay?"

"It's my job to always be observant. It's my life actually."

"Thank you."

Woo Jin gave a one sided smile. "I should get that water."

"Wait." Precious reached out a hand to hold him down.

What she did next surprised her as well and before any further thought could cross her mind, her mouth settled over his in a quick kiss.

To everyone reading this far. Thank you for showing up!!!
