Upon seeing Bronson's face, she felt like a bolt of lightning had just struck her and her blood curdled. This feeling mirrored that of when Ronald suddenly appeared in front of her.

He was so close with Ronald. What would happen if he told on her afterwards?

She started panicking and wanted to run away.

Matteo sensed this and pushed her into a corner instead. "Miss Emily, it seems that everyone here already knows who you are. Since that's the case, do you still need to talk to me alone?" he said cheekily with a smirk.

Her eyes darted to her surroundings and she stammered, "M-Mr. Chavez, I-I think I should..."

"Miss Emily, I'll have you know my patience is only reserved for the women on my bed. So what say you?" he said and frowned. He was growing impatient.

She bit her lip. She didn't want Ronald to find out about what she was up to. And seeing as his best mate was present, how could she just blurt it outright?
