Chapter 15 Going Shopping!

After lunch, Grandpa Bell retired to his chambers to lie down. After getting ready, Leah took her mother's arms and hopped into the family car, all while rushing Emily along.

"Can't you hurry up? We're going shopping, not going for a stroll," Leah scowled.

Since only the three of them were going, Leah didn't feel the need to hold back anymore. Her face warped into one of absolute disgust.

Her mother peered into a pocket mirror to fix her face and pretended not to hear what her daughter had said.

Emily put on a cap and face mask and walked to the side of the car. Leah then tossed her a set of car keys and ordered her to drive.

Emily stopped in her tracks. "Where's the family driver?" she asked, frowning. 

Leah's eyelids flickered innocently. "The driver is on leave and since neither of us can drive, you'll be the one to chauffer us around today!" she said maniacally.

The driver was on leave?
