Chapter 13 She's Back!

Thirty minutes later, a doorbell chimed. A man wearing PJs opened the door to see another man standing in front of him.

The man gave him a glance and let him in. He chuckled and said, "Heh, you're not drunk? I thought you're here because you had a couple too many shots,"

The man standing outside was clad in a proper dark suit. He entered the apartment which was laced with the faint odor of cigarette smoke. He had a menacing expression on. It was none other than Ronald, the man who did not return home after dark.

It looked as if he hadn't changed much, but having been Ronald's best mate more than ten years, Bronson Gallegos couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as he watched him take off his coat and seat himself on his couch.

"Anything the matter? Don't tell me you got into a squabble with your wife and got kicked out of the house?" he asked.
