Pick Up His Wife
Zhang Li Xue was in the middle of browsing through her documents when she heard a knock on the door. Without looking up, she let the person come in, thinking that it was her secretary.
The door was pushed open, but the person did not say anything.
After a brief silence, Zhang Li Xue raised her head and smiled when she saw her husband leaning on the door while looking at her with a gentle look.
It was then that Zhang Li Xue realized that she has been looking at the documents for a long time. She did not even notice that it was time for her to go back.
"I'm sorry," Zhang Li Xue said. "I did not notice the time."
"It's alright." Bai Qi walked over to his wife's side. He leaned over and kissed the top of her head. "My wife, I come to pick you up from work."
Zhang Li Xue laughed. "Just give me five minutes to tidy up everything."
