CHAPTER 2

Thousands of years ago, the heavens were at war between demons, immortals and gods. It was rumored that the emperor of heaven's daughter, Nushen, fell in love with the demon king's son, Yonggan de, whom was now the demon king. Nushen was long engaged to Fang Shao but because she loved Yonggan de, she rejected Fang Shao( a warrior in heaven), which led to a fight. Nushen was said to be born great, for she would be the one to unite the world and eradicate all demons but, she ended up falling in love with the demon king. Since the fight, no one has heard of Yonggan de nor Nushen again, till date....

**** HUMAN REALM****

In the human realm, there were different sect(empire), Pang, Guan, Sheng, Lian and the forbidden demon sect. Each sect was located at the outskirt of the village. However, it was said that the demon sect disappeared and weren't heard from again but, it was also rumored that one of the sect was a hide out for demons.

Nushen was born in Pang sect as one of the leader's daughter and was named Yangguang meaning sunshine. Yangguang was a late bloomer( she would slowly develop her powers or would not have powers at all) because she exhausted all her powers in heaven and almost vanquished her soul.

Yonggan de was born into Guan sect and was named Zhanshi(warrior) but unfortunately, his mother died at a young age. He was later taken in by the leader of Guan sect as one of the cultivators. He was born with fast speed and had his powers from birth. He was one of the strongest. But a thing you should know, this sect was told to cover their faces but, for those who failed to obey the rules and show their faces publicly would suffer deadly consequences and be given 10 deadly trial. It was said that those who went in, never came back out. Twenty years had passed and no one could still defeat Zhanshi, he became one of the best and favorite warrior to Master Guan. Every three years, there was always a gathering by all the sect. There would be celebrations and competitions to discover which sect would lead the whole sect for the next three years and this year was the third year.

'' Prepare, in three days time, we would be going to Pang sect. Remember, always wear your scarf and mask, don't show your face to anyone, be at your best behavior and train hard to win, got it '' General Xu commanded

'' Yes, general Xu '' everyone responded.

Meanwhile in Pang sect, Yangguan was a softhearted and beautiful girl. The only problem she had was that she didn't have any powers yet. She was given birth to with a necklace round her neck. Normally, when a baby was born, it would cry, but, in her case, she yawned instead.

Yangguan's POV***

'' Have you been able to summon a sword '' Meigui (my sister) said.

''No, it's too hard '' I said as I struggled with my palms.

'' What's so hard, don't worry, I'll train you ''

'' No, no, no, don't worry. Your training is so hard and besides, you're already a pro '' I protested.

'' I'm not a pro yet, I still in training. If you weren't lazy, you would have been as strong as me. Let's just go meet my master ''

'' Meigui, just leave it to me, I'll teach her myself '' Boxu(my brother) said as he walked in.

'' Don't worry guys, I'll do it myself '' I insisted.

'' OK, if you say so '' Boxu agreed
