20 Thoughts of Oh Ji-Soo

~Oh Ji-Soo's Condo~

After resting on the couch for a while, Oh Ji-Soo carried her things from the office to her second bedroom to arrange them.

Stepping out, she moved her hair backwards. "I need a drink." Letting out a deep sigh, she made her way toward her couch to take her phone from her handbag before dialling a contact.

On the first ring, the person at the other end answered the call.

"Su-Jin, buy me a drink." Oh Ji-Soo requested immediately while letting her weight fall on the sofa next to the couch.

Baek Su-Jin, who was at the other end, put her phone in front of her face to check the caller ID properly before placing the phone back on her ear.

"Ji-Soo, are you drunk?" She asked.

"Do I sound like I'm drunk? Why would you even think so, are you having hearing problems?" Oh Ji-Soo retorted.

"You never answer calls during work hours as you are always busy working for Kim Ji-hun, now seeing you make one to ask for a drink…"

Baek Su-Jin was deemed to be surprised given how her best friend had such a busy work life to the extent she didn't have time for her. Now receiving her calls during work hours was weird.

"Don't mention that man's name again. It is irritating."

Oh Ji-Soo cringed at the mention of Kim Ji-hun's name. That name was enough to remind her of all the insults and abuse she had swallowed.

At the thought of it, her anger rose.

As it was, she would need therapy to get rid of the trauma she caused him.

Sensing the anger in her tone, Baek Su-Jin used her hair to cover the phone on her ear as her gaze darted around her surrounding.

Currently, she was at work, and to avoid being cursed out by her superior, she had to be careful.

"Come and vent your anger and frustration on me. I will buy you drinks tonight, where do you want to go?" She asked softly.

"Exclusive club." Oh Ji-Soo answered immediately. That was the question she has been waiting to be asked since.

"You really want to burn a hole in my pocket this night?" Baek Su-Jin inquired without flinching.

The Exclusive club was a place where the rich went to hang out with their friends or have fun. It was no different from a VIP-based customers club.

It sure was made for the wealthy.

"It's not my intention, but you owe me one." Oh Ji-Soo said in a reminder as she played with her natural nails.

"Fine. You really know when to take out the right card. I will reserve a room for us."

"This is what friends are for. Thank you."

Oh Ji-Soo was excited, and she couldn't help but show it. Hence after the call, she went straight to her bedroom to freshen up before going into her kitchen to whip up a table of dishes for herself.

Sitting on her small dining table with a table of dishes arraigned before her, Oh Ji-Soo brushed her hands together before picking up her chopsticks.

Her eyes brimmed with excitement as she picked up the fried chicken to take a bite.

"Mmmm…" Chewing the meat in delight, she said to herself, 'When last did I ever settle down to take care of my diet?'

She was right in her thoughts.

On weekends, she hardly had the energy to cook so many dishes at once after a stressful weekday at work.

Normally she was supposed to be tired after dishing out words to Kim Ji-hun, but at the thought of going out later in the evening for drinks, she felt virtue suddenly return to her.

~Dream Axis~

Kim Ji-hun was still mad with anger even after returning to his office.

With his kind of pride, it would be surprising if he had calmed down by now.

The worst part of all this was that he didn't even get the opportunity to exert his revenge after being insulted in front of his staff.

Right when he was about to have it done by firing Oh Ji-Soo on the spot, she slammed her resignation letter in front of him.

"Ah!" Ruffling his hair with his fingers as his lashes fluttered close, he glared at the door of his office the next moment after his eyes opened again.

With that heart that held so many resentments against one person he seemed to not forget so easily, he stormed off and headed straight to Oh Ji-Soo's office.

Ignoring the surprised glances from his staff at the 25th level and their greetings, he walked into the office and turned on the light.

Sweeping his gaze through every little detail in the room, he found nothing out of the ordinary apart from the fact that the hardworking woman who was usually sitting behind that desk, was no longer there.

"She really left?" Mumbling to himself as it dawned on him what had transpired in the meeting room, his gaze came to rest on the nameplate on the empty desk.

'Senior Manager Director Oh Ji-Soo'

Seeing that, he made his way straight to the table, and that was when his eyes caught sight of the work ID on the desk.

Picking it up, the image on the plastic pack formed in his eyes.

As Kim Ji-hun read the details on it while seeing the face of the woman that had unknowingly etched herself in the deepest of his heart, his fingers clenched by his side.

A few minutes later, he walked out of the office with Oh Ji-Soo's ID in his hand again, ignoring the few staff on that level.

"Did President Kim come to make sure that Director Oh left?"

"Who knows what he is thinking." Another person commented.

As their boss's thoughts could not be comprehended, they quickly got back to work while trying to ignore the outcome of what had happened earlier that day.

After work hours, Kim Ji-hun left for his penthouse.

Even after spending some time in the bathroom to try and was away every thought of Oh Ji-Soo in his head, he failed.

It was not enough that he failed to get some work down back in his office because of those thoughts and even now in his own home, he couldn't get peace.

While eating, her image kept coming to his head and every word she spoke in the meeting room earlier that day continued to make its way to his ears.

Slamming his fork on the table, he glared at the space before him.

"Am I really narcissistic and arrogant?"
