17 I quit!

"Helen, is my son that bad for him to get lashed out by this Director Oh?" Kim Chae-Yeon asked, giving her a side glance.

In all honesty, she has never seen anyone able to stand up to her son in this manner hence, the reason she was taken aback regarding the backlash.

She really wanted to know if her son's character was that terrible for a day like this to come to him.

Ms. Helen was at a loss for words. How should she reply to that question?

Should she spread her son's dirty lining in her presence, or should she lie to her?

Seeing how the pitiful woman was still struggling to think of a response to give to her, Kim Chae-Yeon shook her head.

"That means it's true."

Shifting her gaze back to the translucent glass hiding the people in the room from them, she thought to herself.

'I thought I was the only one he was mean to. It looks like he has been far worse to the others, especially this Director Oh.'

For an employee to be lashing out at her Boss like this, Kim Chae-Yeon was convinced that Kim Ji-hun must have treated her badly.

"Are you done venting your anger?" Kim Ji-hun's cold tone thundered in the room as his icy gaze attempted to bore a hole in the space between her brows.

"No, I'm not!" Oh Ji-Soo screamed in his face, causing him to shut his eyes and take a few steps backwards.

How could she be done so son when she was not done giving him a dose of his medicine?

The little she had said so far hadn't even reached half of the trauma and stress he caused her to develop in the cause of slaving her life away.

She was only getting started.

"Oh Ji-Soo, do you think I can be this patient with you without any repercussion?" Kim Ji-hun's threatening tone spread to the ears of everyone present.

They could all understand that he had come to his limits, but how to stop Oh Ji-Soo from speaking was the problem.

If she kept that attitude up without knowing when to stop and apologize, she was really going to lose her job

But did she care about it? Of course not!

Coming to the stage to vent her anger like this only meant that she was fed up.

"Patience? Do you even know what that word means?" Ji-Soo interrogated as her gaze narrowed at him.

This was a man who was known to order people around while giving them a time limit.

He doesn't accept excuses and mistakes. Explanations were out of the question so how could he talk about being patient with her now?

The dark aura surrounding Kim Ji-hun quickly spread to the ends of the room as black lines appeared on his forehead.

Green veins were already popping at the side of his neck as his head throbbed.

'Oh Ji-Soo!'

Seeing as he was looking ready to kill her, she continued without care. As far as she was concerned, she didn't have anything on the line.

"Kim Ji-hun, I really have to hand it to you for torturing your staff. You have a knack for traumatizing people and that makes me wonder if arrogancy and keeping to time are the best qualities to oversee a company."

Instead of questioning his upbringing to being the reason for his bad attitude towards people just like he questioned her educational qualifications, she had to change it to questioning his leadership skills as the other question would have been very rude.

She had the opportunity to do that and nothing would happen, but she couldn't stoop to his level.

As her gaze moved from his head to his feet and back to his face again, she taunted, "You know what Kim Ji-hun? I think you should get laid once in a while who knows, your hot brain might eventually calm down."

Immediately, Hands flew to the mouth to either stop themselves from screaming in shock or laughing out loud in fun.

Clasping her mouth with her hand, an older woman with rimmed-framed glasses gave a thumbs-up in her head. 'Wow! Director Oh has totally gone crazy.'

'I don't think Director Oh still wants this job.' The project manager thought to himself.

Director Baek who was still in the action of drinking water, spurted it out at once as he immediately went into a coughing spree.

'This is madness!' He said to himself as he tried to stop himself from coughing. His entire face was already red due to the water entering the wrong place.

"Oh Ji-Soo, you are fired!" Kim Ji-hun announced, causing the breaths of his subordinates to seize.

They all had one thought etched deeply into their mind. 'He is firing her? The worst has happened!'

As if they were not shocked enough, they heard his commanding tone.

"Get out of my sight this instance!"

Pointing his finger at the entrance, he ordered while trying to remain rooted at the spot cause he knew himself very well.

Once he attempts to take a step forward, he was going to strangle somebody's daughter to death and no one would be able to stop him from doing that.

There was a limit to what he can tolerate and Oh Ji-Soo had gone far beyond that.

His face was completely black like charcoal after his ears heard that statement.

It was already a miracle that he had managed to stay cool-headed all this while.

As soon as those words reached Oh Ji-Soo's ears, she took a few steps forward while dipping her hand into her bag as her fierce gaze remained on him.

"No! You don't get to fire me, you psychopath! I quit!"

Slamming the white envelope on the desk in front of him, she raised her head again.

"F**k you!" She said while showing him the middle finger.

"W-What? Psycho? D-Did Y-You just use the 'F' word on me?" Kim Ji-hun stammered with an unbelievable expression on his face.

He couldn't believe his ears.

All the insults she had rained down on him weren't enough and now she had to call him a psychopath, use the 'F' word on him and even show him the middle finger?

There was no way he was going to let her off, NEVER!
