22 His true feelings

"Kim Ji-hun went very far this time around. Good for him to have a taste of his own medicine."

Sitting next to Oh Ji-Soo in a small boot, Baek Su-Jin raised her thumbs to her.

After learning about the ordeal that led to her friend resigning, she gave her full support.

"I regret not using up all the words I had stored in me at that moment of anger," Oh Ji-Soo said, letting out a deep breath.

Of course, there were words hanging in her throat she didn't use on him, but as she was human, she took a step back and refrained from using them.

This goes to show how thoughtful she was even in that moment of anger when her emotions were boiling.

"We need to drink a beer to this." Baek Su-Jin said and immediately called for a waiter passing by to take their drink order.

At the same time, Kim Ji-hun and Kang Dae-Jung stepped out of the black car outside the club and passed the key to a valet before striding in.

"This place is still bustling as usual." Kang Dae-Jung noted with a smile.

Just as Baek Su-Jin was Oh Ji-Soo's best friend, Kang Dae-Jung was the closest friend Kim Ji-hun had.

And they were all connected through the same means.

"If you don't come, nothing will change." Kim Ji-hun commented with his gaze ahead.

Did he think that anything will change from the Exclusive Club if he didn't show up a few times? He was not the only one they were making money from.

Smirking to himself, Kang Dae-Jung led the way to the usual room they used to sit in each time they came there.

"How many bottles will you be drinking today?" He inquired as soon as they stepped into the room.

"That is a meaningless question," Ji-hun replied as his gaze swept over the room with three sofas and a table in it. Finding it safe, he walked in and went straight to take a seat.

"I didn't come here to drink only I came to clear my head." Giving Dae-Jun a side glance, he crossed his leg over the other.

Taking the cue, Kang Dae-Jun went to sit on the sofa next to him.

"Why do you need to clear your head, is it because of J-Group's bid you lost?"

Since earlier that day after J-Group announced RX as the winner for their upcoming project, the reporters invited to the event spread the information through different channels.

It wasn't long after Oh Ji-Soo left Dream Axis with her things that the outcome of the event became the talk of the town.

Losing a bid like that to a rival company and being talked about in the news, was like a slap to Kim Ji-hun's face who was the leader of Dream Axis.

He was bound to not feel good about it, but he had a greater worry than that.

"Oh Ji-Soo is the reason I'm like this. Do you know what that woman did to me?"

Kim Ji-hun seemed to be in disbelief as he shut his eyes and just immediately, the scene from the meeting room began to play in front of him as the words uttered from her lips were voiced in his head.

"Ji-Soo? Were you not the one always trying to get on her nerves? what did she do?" Kang Dae-Jung asked as an interesting smile played on his lips.

He went on to adjust his sitting position and perk up his ears to listen.

Hearing that name, Kim Ji-hun clenched his fingers and through gritted teeth, he recounted everything that transpired between him and Oh Ji-Soo in the meeting room as a sharp pain shot through his chest.

His pride was hurt.

"Hahaha…" Holding a hand over his mouth to stifle his laughter, Kang Dae-Jun couldn't control his emotions as he stamped his feet on the floor.

"What's funny?" Shotting him a glare. Kim Ji-hun immediately directed his anger at him. It was very clear that he was unhappy after being made fun of.

As Dae-Jun's laugh slowly died down, he replied, "I knew a day like this would come soon. Ji-hun, everyone has a limit to what they can tolerate and it seemed like Ji-Soo endured past that threshold, hence the reason for the burst out of her pent-up frustration."

"Are you by any chance supporting her?"

Kim Ji-Hun couldn't believe his ears. Was this man for him or against him?

He requested to have drinks with him only for him to give him a listening ear, and not be made fun of.

But Kang Dae-Jun refused to deny his words.

Slowing down with his laughter, he sat upright and fixed a serious gaze on him and said each word that came out from his mouth as audible as he could.

"Today, I will only tell you the truth and not what you may want to hear." Gesturing with his hand, he continued as Kim Ji-hun watched him with slightly furrowed brows.

"I am in full support of Ji-Soo's outburst. You have tortured her for far too long and it is good she spoke out otherwise, you wouldn't know when to stop.

You claim to love her, but you have succeeded to turn yourself into her ene…"

"When did I say that I loved her?" Kim Ji-hun interrupted as his eyes widened in their sockets.

His heartbeats increased, but as the sounds were only deep in his chest, Kang Dae-Jun could not hear them from where he was sitting.

Still, it didn't give him any reason to doubt what he knew.

"Indeed, you never said such words, but that didn't mean you didn't show it. Since our high school days, you have shown interest in her, and if I didn't know better, I would have thought it was because of what she did that made you want to take revenge on her by torturing her at work."

Letting out a sigh, he continued while ignoring the black face of the man sitting at his left side.

"But I know you are not treating her that way because of what happened. You only acted this way because you did not know how to direct your feelings in the right way hence, you resorted to this means to attract her attention."
