Love Past Time

What kind of employee gives her boss the third finger in the middle of a meeting and doesn’t get fired?  In her entire life, Oh Ji-Soo has never seen anyone more arrogant, mean, time conscious and narcissistic than Kim Ji-hun.  No one.  One moment he is cursing her; “Do it again, dimwit! You have 10 minutes!” and another moment he is tearing up the design draft she brought to him.  Having had enough of his antics, Ji-Soo concluded that she would rather become unemployed than have her mental state tortured over again.  But when her boss comes for her, she forces a contract that would keep him in check, which ended up exposing the secret he had hidden for years.  Now that his secret was out, he could blatantly tell her with a mischievous smirk playing on his lips, “I gave you a chance to run from me, but now, that grace has expired.”  Left with that realization and a beguiling goody-two-shoes woman lurking around the corner, what choice would Ji-Soo make? Would she take a step back or get on the ferry wheel of romance with her boss?

Finding Oh Ji-Soo

~Dream Axis~

Picking up the landline on his work desk, Kim Ji-hun made a call directly to J Group's chairman to accept the deal he made the previous day.

"Congratulations, President Kim. When the paper works have been done and signed, we can then make an official announcement." Chairman J said with all smiles.

"That is fine by me."

Ending the conversation with him, Kim Ji-hun put down his landline and let out a long sigh as he covered his face with his palms.

It seemed like he had decided to put work ahead of his emotions.

This was a decision that took almost an entire night to reach.

It really was not easy putting his pride aside to reach another milestone in his career. After all, the woman he was going to call back to work had stepped on his ego in front of the important people in Dream Axis.

This was like having to choose between the most important things to him.

Letting out another long sigh, he picked up the landline again but this time around, he made a call to Oh Ji-Soo's personal line.

'Sorry, the number you are trying to call is not reachable.'

Hearing what the automated female voice had to say, Kim Ji-hun tried Oh Ji-Soo's contact but reached the same point.

"Did she turn off her phone?" Mumbling to himself, he picked up his phone from his desk and tried calling her through his private number but all to no avail.

But on his third try with his phone, he suddenly realized something. "Wait a minute, D-Did she block me?"

Finding this out, Kim Ji-hun's pride could not get any more damaged.

It took him several minutes to wave it off and continue with the important task he had at hand, and that was reaching her first.

Picking up the landline for the third time that morning, he phoned his secretary.

"Find Director Oh Ji-Soo's resumé and check for her address immediately!"

"Yes, President Kim!" Ms. Helen replied before immediately getting to work while wondering what he was going to use that piece of information for.

Since Oh Ji-Soo was among the highest-ranking employee at Dream Axis, it was not hard to find her file.

As soon as Ms. Helen saw it, she flipped it open and went directly to copy her address before phoning Kim Ji-hun.

But as he did not want to make any mistake, he asked her to bring the file to his office. Immediately she put it in front of him, he quickly picked it up.

Seeing the information on her, his gaze went straight to her address. Finding it, he picked up his phone to call his chauffeur.

"Get the car ready, we are going to…"

Leaving the location for him to find before he came down to the underground parking lot just in case he had no idea where it was, he disconnected the call.

'Huh? He's going to find Director Oh?'

When Helen thought she knew it all, Kim Ji-hun burst her bubbles.

Watching him pick up his Jacket and his phone from his desk, she couldn't help but inquire about it.

"President Kim, are you going to find Director Oh?"

"Rather than getting inquisitive over this matter, I would prefer you take care of any matter reaching my desk in my absence."

Refusing to feed her curiosity or give her any information that would add up to what she already knew, he walked away with her tailing behind him.

Oh Ji-Soo pulled a medium-sized luggage with her as she walked out of her room and strode to her living area with a smile on her face.

Putting her white handbag down for a moment, she glanced around her home. Blowing kisses to it, she cried out excitedly.

"I'm going to miss you, home sweet home."

Saying that she giggled like a child before picking up her things and walking toward the entrance door.

Dressed in a chic outfit of black pencil trousers and a brown leather jacket that covered her white singlet plus a pair of brown leather ankle boots, she pressed a switch on the all that automatically turned off all the lights in her living area, hallway and kitchen.

Only when this task was completed was she able to leave through the doors of her house.

Unaware of what was going on, on the other side with Kim Ji-hun, she boarded a taxi and headed to the airport.

Today was the day she was leaving for Japan on her 2-week vacation and her flight was by 10:30 that morning, which meant she had to hurry up as the time was already a few minutes past 9 AM.

By the time Kim Ji-hun arrived at her condominium area, she was already 20 minutes gone.

Stepping out of his car, Kim Ji-hun glanced at the height of the building. Looking around his surrounding briefly, he continued in his steps toward the building after adjusting his suit.

As he hadn't the time to study the structure in front of him given he was an architect interested in such things, he couldn't look anymore.

As Oh Ji-Soo's condominium number was included in her address, Kim Ji-hun was able to find it in no time.

'There is where she lives?'

Giving that level a good look, he mumbled to himself as he went to ring the doorbell. "She has good taste."

As expected of a director of Dream Axis, it was normal for her to live in a good place.

Having rang the doorbell twice, Kim Ji-hun held some patience with him. Maybe he thought with him finally finding out the direct means to reach Oh Ji-Soo, he didn't have to worry too much.

But five minutes later, all the patience he had left, was exhausted.

"Is she not in?" Frowning a bit, he rang the doorbell again and this time around when he didn't get any response, he turned and left.

'I don't have time for this.'

Taking the elevator to the ground floor, he made a call with his phone.

"Dae-Jung, do you have Oh Ji-Soo's contact?"
