Chapter 3: INTERESTS

The bright morning sun shined brightly and the summer air was refreshing , Tia opened her drolly eyes , took a deep breath and got up stretching her body with a smile on her face as she got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready to go to work.

After getting dressed and putting on her makeup she headed out to work.

When she reached the office she was suprised by the commotion happening ,everyone was busy running around in files while some women were busy fixing themselves in the bathroom , Tia was confused to what the fuck was happening until a tall dark muscular guy with a smile greeted her

" don't know what's happening?"

Tia looked at him and asked

"Brandon why is everyone acting this weird "

Brandon looked at her for a while and said

"Someone has bought the company I don't know who he is but I heard he is some big shot that all the girls are crazy for him ".

Tia felt suspicious everytime people acted like this its because of someone annoying they think is special just like the one she met last night .

She headed to her office not minding the commotion happening , when she reached there she found a huge bouquet of different types of roses in all shades and she was suprised to a point she got glued to where she was standing without blinking cause she has never been gifted flowers before. When she finally got back to her senses and went through the flowers to check who they were from she saw that there was no note from the sender and somehow she felt disappointed as maybe they were not hers.

Tia was called to the board of directors meeting as she was a top lawyer in the firm , when she arrived she sat next to Brandon waiting for the 'new boss ' who bought the company overnight . The door opened and the 'new boss' walled in and Tia was left speechless.....

Jonathan walked in his aura calm and his expression serious his green eyes showing no emotions , his tall muscular physique was god like and his curly hair neatly done . He looked over to his right and a smirk appeared on his lips as Tia breathed a deep sigh

'Why is God doing this to me what have I done to see this guy again' she spoke in her head annoyed .

After the meeting ended Tia was the first to get out hurrying her steps until she got to her office

"The fuck I didn't know he would actually find me and buy the company how rich could he be " she said calmly but she was pissed off .

She started working when someone knocked on her door and when it opened she heard a deep masculine voice and when she raised her head it was Jonathan....

He looked around her big and spacious office and his eyes stopped at the big bouquet of flowers and a smile crepted on his face . When Tia saw him she got up from her seat and greeted him with a serious expression " good morning sir how can I help you " Jonathan smirked

"No need to be so formal with me ..... Tiana"

She rolled her eyes and continued speaking

"Is there anything you need from me SIR" she emphasized the last word to earn a laugh from him

" Did you like the flowers" he said in a low tone

"What do you mean " asked Tia

"I sent you flowers did you like them " he said in a serious tone

" You sent them ?" asked a confused Tia

" I told you I would find out who you are " he said with a smirk

Tia took a deep breath and continued to speak to him

"Look now you are my boss so I can't speak to you the way I want but I have a question " she said in a calm low voice

Jonathan put his hands in his pocket and stared at her noticing her serious look and he said

" What is it "

"What do you want from me?.. ..... look I'm sorry if I had offended you but can you just stay away from me okay I don't wanna get into tro..." " I'm not interested in you so don't flatter yourself .... I'm only talking to you because I have a proposition for you and I'm sure you won't be able to say no" he interrupted her speech and spoke in a mocking tone

Tia lowered her eyes from him before saying

" proposition huh what are you implying ?"

He looked at her and got closer to her leaving a tiny space between them as he held her waist firmly making it difficult for her to free herself

"Meet me for dinner tonight and I will tell you what I have in mind for you".
