Chapter 9
For Frank’s part, he knew what was going on. After their conversation the night of their first meeting in the dorm, he had let his feelings for Bill grow. As they did, he had become more and more fearful of letting them show. Bill was involved with Dennis. While it didn’t seem that Bill’s feelings for Dennis were more than getting release for physical needs, Frank wasn’t sure how Dennis would react if something seemed to be developing between Frank and Bill. Would he do something rash and out Bill? Since Bill thought Frank was straight, Frank felt it was better to just let Bill think that and be safe from any complications of a relationship. Bill had too much to lose.
