36 Nervous?

GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER

Dinner with a big boss like Mo Xing was a good opportunity but Bella declined because she had to go back and see just how her mother was going to deal with Ling Che.

Anna Lee was left all alone with Mo Xing because even Zhou Feng had disappeared to who knows where.

Anna packed the dress neatly and then made her way outside with Mo Xing. Their steps were in sync but Anna Lee could not help but feel a bout of nervousness that stemmed from nowhere.

Mo Xing saw this, "Nervous?" he asked, his tone soft. Anna nodded slightly while Mo Xing laughed slightly, "You don't have to be."

His words eased her for a bit. She could not help but start a small conversation with the other, "So, you are a store owner?"

Mo Xing felt that the place they started the conversation was not ideal but he still answered, "Yes I am. What about you?"

Anna looked up to Mo Xing, "I know you've guessed it already. I am an actress."

Mo Xing nodded then the air remained silent.

The silent air was not at all constricting but both of them felt at ease with it.

The restaurant the two went to was inside the mall. It was not fancy at all but the food they sold was good. The glutton Anna Lee made way inside with enthusiasm. Mo Xing watched her order many dishes and smiled in spite of himself.

The lady in front of him made him feel certain warmth even though they had not known each other for long. The warmth spread from his heart to his whole body and this feeling made him happy.

He stared at her for a long time. If he guessed correctly, she did not know who she was and that was why she had asked him if he was a store owner.

A stray hair threatened to dip inside her soup and he quickly helped her tuck it behind her ear. Anna Lee blushed slightly and continued to eat with vigor.

Mo Xing smiled softly and then told her, "We have met twice already but I still don't know your name,"

This was a lie. Zhou Feng who was sitting on the other side could not help but twitch his mouth in disbelief.

Is there something that Mo Xing actually does not know in the whole capital?

Even if he did not know, he would use any means possible to find out.

Anna looked up when he heard him speak. The two could be considered acquaintances right now but they still did not know each other.

She wiped the oil off her mouth, "My name is Anna Lee. What about you?"

Her face was flushed from the steam making her look especially more alluring than before. Her eyes were clear and her attitude warm. Mo Xing's heart beat madly at the sight.

He came back to his senses and introduced himself, "I am Mo Xing, nice to meet you."

Mo Xing…that was a nice name, Anna Lee thought. She could not help but think that it was very familiar though but she threw the thought at the back of her head.

Anna Lee noticed that his mannerisms were impeccable. He was not eating much but whenever he held the spoon, he had on this air of nobility that did not diminish even when he sat at a small hotel like this.

Anna Lee felt that the side he was sitting on was brighter. Something tugged at her heart when she looked at him, a store owner, sitting quietly like this.

After the meal, the two of them walked outside at the same pace. When they were going inside the restaurant, Mo Xing was leading but right now, they were both walking at the same level. Mo Xing felt that this was how it was supposed to be.

"Thank you for the meal, big boss Mo," Anna Lee said happily.

Mo Xing looked up at her, "Big boss?"

"Yes. Being a store owner means that you are a boss right?" Anna Lee was asking but her tone held resolution. Mo Xing simply laughed at her logic.

Zhou Feng, who was at the other side, looked at his boss in awe. This boss of his never smiled but ever since this woman appeared in his life, he started smiling more. He was glad. He looked at Anna with eyes full of gratitude.

Mo Xing received a call and moved a bit further away to pick it up. Anna stood on the balcony and watched people buzzing in and out of the mall.

She looked up and saw two familiar people make their way inside. Her body stiffened,
